At dusk in 2012 the witness was sitting alone in a tree stand during archery season. He heard a loud scream from a nearby swamp, then heard heavy footsteps circling behind him where he could not see. An object was thrown through the trees over him and a stone struck the tree he was in, after which he yelled toward the sounds and left for his truck.
Couple find large footprint on Lake Cosby
A couple on a day trip to a lake house noticed an unusually large footprint in marshy mud beside the dock. They left the dock for a closer look and described a very deep right footprint about 11-12 inches long and 5 inches wide with well-formed toes, heading toward the lake. About 45 minutes after daylight he heard a loud crash he interpreted as something large thrown toward him from about 250 feet away, followed by a very loud scream that continued as the source moved away for at least 1,000 yards. He stayed in the stand out of fear and did not see the source because the forest was too thick.

The witness was driving south alone at night when a large hairy biped crossed the road in front of the car in two strides and dropped into roadside bushes. The creature was described as tall and thickly built with long hair, a conical head, very long arms and very large feet, running upright without looking at the car. The witness did not stop to investigate because it was dark.

The witness was attending a daytime work meeting at a remote construction site southeast of Orlando when he noticed movement along a distant tree line. She first thought it was a ranch hand but later interpreted it as a possible Skunk Ape drawn to the roadkill.

Under a street light they watched a tall dark hairy biped run across the cul-de-sac without looking toward them.
