Recollection of a daytime bike path crossing in front of three youths near Columbia
Three children walking and biking on a wooded bike path near a lake in the afternoon watched a thin grey-haired biped step out of the woods, cross the path, and enter the woods on the other side. The creature did not look at them, vocalize, or act threateningly, and the sighting lasted only seconds. The witnesses then ran back to a house, scared.

The witness and his mother were fishing with his father in a roadside wash at dusk when they heard footsteps in the water that sounded bipedal. A very large, wide figure then came into view in the open wash about 20 feet away, walked past them, turned and went up the bank into the woods. They shouted to the father and quickly left without discussing the event further.

Over seven years hunting the same lease, the witness repeatedly heard loud crashing like a vehicle moving through woods that stopped at cover, rhythmic knocking like hammering heard day and night, careful footsteps around his blind with nothing visible, and children's voices playing in a creek bed that vanished when he investigated. He initially rationalized the sounds as deer, neighbors, or real children.

The witness was driving away from a private lake late at night when a small hairy biped ran across the road into the front of the car. The impact caused major front-end damage and left fur and blood, and the witness heard a thud as the animal hit the pavement. While slowing, the witness heard a loud roar from the treeline and later heard crashing and growling alongside the road while driving around the lake, feeling chased.

Years later while researching in Washington, the witness and his wife were slowly cruising forest roads looking for trails. A huge black blur crossed immediately in front of their vehicle too fast to follow, brushing a tree that kept rocking. They saw no animal after stopping and heard no further crashing, concluding it must have been a Sasquatch moving at full speed downhill.

Two companions hiked through deep snow toward a waterfall in winter and found a trail of very large human-like footprints with a long stride. No other human tracks were present, and the trail crossed a ravine from one wild area to another. They concluded the prints were made by a large bipedal creature. No creature itself was seen.

The property owner walked up to a dumpster after hearing digging and found a creature standing inside about two feet away looking down at him. When he raised a firearm the creature's eyes widened and it dropped down. It then burst out the back, ran on all fours before rising to two feet, and cleared a six-foot fence in a long jump.

After a creature growled through a back window, the two brothers went outside after it. One brother fired three shots that struck it in the back, head and lungs. They listened from the porch as it gurgled and died near the wood line, then other individuals rushed in, picked up the body over a shoulder and carried it away.

A young adult relative arrived, got out of the car and saw a creature about twenty feet away growling. She ran inside shaking. Moments later the creature leaned down to a large front window, bared its teeth and growled through the glass before fleeing when the homeowner moved around the house.

The property owner's sibling arrived with two small children and got out to open the driveway gate. Three creatures came out of the wood line, growled and threw softball-sized rocks at the car and at her. The children hid inside the car shaking and the sibling could barely speak afterward.

The brother and his partner were eating dinner inside the home when an extremely loud scream struck the house. The witness said the sound was physically felt through the body and shook a cabinet holding dishes. He then called his sibling to report what had happened.

While walking by Sagamore Creek near the state hospital in Summit County, the guest found a single very large deep footprint with toes in the mud. He found no other prints and was befuddled. He dismissed it at the time as a tall man.

After the fire died the witness lay in the tent and heard loud breathing approach, stop behind the tent blocking moonlight, shuffle the cooler, then sniff at his head. He yelled and hit the tent, after which it urinated on the tent, hollered loudly and left breaking and twisting high pine branches. Next morning he found large compressed impressions and damaged branches.

On the first night of the trip the witness slept early while his brother stayed up. The brother later said he heard what sounded like two men on foot approach from uphill and downhill, move away when approached and follow back, never answering or being seen.
