A woman left a cabin gathering late at night to sleep in a smaller cabin. Near a parked truck she reportedly saw a large gray standing figure and screamed. The property owner ran out within seconds but perceived nothing. The woman remained deeply shaken and later refused to discuss the incident.
Driver sees a tall (about 7-8ft), fur covered biped along roadside
Late at night in October 2000, the witness was driving south with a relative on Snider Rd near a bridge and railroad tracks. The witness reported seeing a large dark fur-covered biped standing near the tree line east of the road as the vehicle passed. The figure was described as very still, and the witness could not make it out when looking back in the mirrors.

The witness and their partner were sitting by a fire in their yard at night when cattle behind the house began bawling and running. The partner called the witness to the side of the garage where a tall shape stood motionless in the moonlight. The partner threw a steel pipe at the shape, which did not move, so they assumed it was a tree and went inside. The next morning they found no tree at that spot, but flattened grass and two trails leading through the pasture, and recovered the thrown pipe.

The witness returned after being away for a week, parked near the barn late at night, and walked toward the house. From the immediate right the witness heard a hair-raising guttural growl twice and hurried inside to tell family. The next morning the witness called the conservation office, where the person consulted said the described sound was definitely not a bear.

The witness walked into woods to take photographs and saw a tall, hair-covered figure standing ahead. The figure jumped over a fallen tree and retreated silently into brush, making no further sound. The witness followed briefly with a camera but found nothing and left for the car.

While deer hunting, the witness found many large tracks and followed them to a hidden hillside spring in a dry area. The water was murky as if recently disturbed, and the witness also found dung with an unusual sweet smell that was collected for testing. Two people driving north on a forest road in daylight saw a large black figure walking on the shoulder toward them. They described it as bulky with huge limbs, moving with a swagger, and showing no discernible features. They stopped and backed up as it moved into the woods near the shoulder, moved branches, then returned to the shoulder and walked toward them again. They left the area, and a later return found no sign of it.

The witness drove to the end of a forest road and walked to the river to fish alone in the morning. After casting, he heard cracking across the river and saw bushes moving and a large brown figure without clear details. Two trees snapped and fell uphill as the figure moved upslope into dense forest, and the frightened witness left the area quickly.
Motorist witnesses two-legged man-like creature in field just off Hillsboro highway
The witness was driving south on Highway 219 out of Hillsboro at night with high beams on while scanning for wildlife. The headlights illuminated a tall, upright, shaggy animal standing motionless in a field a short distance from the road. The witness estimated it at about 8 feet tall, noted it faced the lights without reflective eyes, and passed it in seconds at 55 mph. On driving by again about an hour later, the animal was gone.
Hunters find track in mountains above Falls City
The witness was scouting deer locations by vehicle with two relatives when he found a large human-like footprint at a logging-road turnaround overlooking a ravine. The relatives joined him to examine it closely and they found a coarse hair inside the print. They photographed and videotaped the print and kept the hair in a film container, but the hair was later lost while showing it to someone.

On the night of September 23, 2000, the witness and the witness's spouse were driving south on Highway 89 near Tahoma after dinner. Their headlights illuminated a hair-covered biped crossing the road toward the lake and running into the trees. Both occupants watched it run upright on two legs and agreed it did not look like a bear, describing it as more like a Sasquatch.

The witness stopped with a child by Sunset Crater to look at lava formations while driving from Phoenix to Utah. From the pine-covered slope above them they repeatedly heard loud, breathy huffing. They saw nothing because trees blocked the view, and video recorded at the time did not capture the sound. They left uneasy without identifying the source.

While bow hunting, the witness stalked what was first thought to be a bear to within 40 yards. The creature was squatting and eating a rabbit, then noticed the witness, made a scream-grunt sound, stood over seven feet tall, threw the rabbit toward the witness, and went into the timber. The witness later observed large human-like tracks, a strong rank odor, and unusual quiet with no other animal sounds.

The witness was driving home from work around 3:30 a.m. on a clear night. A large upright creature crossed the two-lane highway in front of the car in three long steps. As the witness drove past the crossing location, a musty odor like wet tent canvas was noticed.

The witness was hunting elk along a ridge trail and noting elk, coyote, cougar and deer sign. About a mile from a spur road, just off the trail behind a small tree, the witness found an unusually large dark tubular scat that did not match known animals. The witness examined its size, color and contents with a stick and suggested it could possibly have come from a large primate-like animal.
Possible vocalizations heard by campers on the Blueridge Parkway
While camping with family, the witness stayed awake reading until 2-3 a.m. and heard a deep bellowing howl from the southwest that called repeatedly for over 30 minutes, moved west over a ridge, and returned around 4 a.m. heading southeast. No animal was seen and the dog remained asleep.
Man sees a bigfoot 100' away, hears twigs break as it slowly walks
The witness was sitting at a mountain camp near water around midday when they noticed a bear-like odor and spotted movement on a nearby ridge. A dark, almost black figure initially mistaken for a man stood up from the ground and walked calmly across the ridgetop, close enough for footstep sounds to be heard, before descending out of sight. The witness emphasized the figure was much larger than a bear.

Late at night the witness heard sounds from a large animal in the backyard corn garden while in the living room. The next day a large footprint was found in the garden and corn was missing from the tops of tall stalks with husks left on the ground. A photo of the track was taken.

Possible track found by hunter near Palmer / Hatcher Pass
The witness and a companion were tracking game near the edge of a swamp in the early morning when they found a single large human-like footprint among moose tracks. The witness described it as an 11-inch right foot with five toes and a large big toe, estimated to be a couple days old, with no other similar tracks found. Heavy rain prevented making a cast, and when the witness returned two days later the track was water-filled and unrecognizable.
