Girl watches large black sasquatch walk down ridge

The witness was riding in an SUV with companions that stopped to observe elk. While looking toward a gulch, the witness reported a dark upright figure walking down a ridge with its arms moving. Companions did not verify the figure because they were watching elk. The figure went into the woods and the witness lost sight of it.

Two creatures spotted in campground area playing with motion lights

The witness was sleeping in a tent at a camp while waiting for companions to arrive. After midnight the witness was awakened by strange chattering sounds and saw two dark, large hairy figures pacing in front of motion-activated lights. The witness watched for about 90 minutes as they triggered the lights, tossed gravel toward them, and gave off a foul odor before running off when vehicles arrived at the camp gate.

BFRO investigator finds tracks in snow 2001

While driving along a ridge road for field work, the witness noticed large bipedal footprints crossing the road and stopped to examine them. The witness counted about 20 clear prints with a long stride and recorded them on video before leaving. The witness returned the following day and located additional, more weathered prints across the road.

The witness was at a lake glassing south toward another lake on March 3. Through high-power binoculars the witness noticed a wide trail in the snow that ran straight down the mountain and across scree before turning near timber at the bottom. The trail was described as miles away and several feet wide. The account notes a bear or a Bigfoot could have made it, and questions why a lower pass was not used.

Mountain climbers hear loud scream on Mount St. Helens

The witness and six companions were climbing Mt. St. Helens in the morning when they heard a single loud scream from a snow-covered ridge about 100 yards away. They stopped and looked toward the ridge with excellent visibility but saw no movement. They judged the sound unlike a human, elk, coyote, or dog, and the witness later concluded it was Bigfoot after comparing it to a 1978 recording.

Two hikers both hear strange sounds in a creek culvert, investigate to see two ape-like creatures sitting at far end of culvert

At sunset the witness and a companion were hiking along a creek when they heard singing coming from a culvert. They approached and looked through the culvert and saw the silhouettes of two ape-like creatures with glowing eyes crouched at the far end, swaying and humming. The witnesses left quickly so as not to disturb them.

Fish Creek - Campers hear noises, smell 'skunky' smell

Two people backpacked in and camped for two nights along a closed road. During the second night, one camper heard sustained light movement in brush around camp after dark and woke to a strong skunk-like odor before dawn. After sunrise, that camper found two fresh and clear footprints in duff near camp measuring about 15 inches long. The camper interpreted the activity as the camp being cased.

The witness and three siblings drove home late after visiting a relative with a new baby. Along a rural road they watched a tall dark-furred figure walking the roadside grow larger as they approached. In headlights it stopped, showed yellow eye reflection, looked at the car, then left the road into woods while the younger siblings panicked.

Witness describes close encounter with two creatures in the light of a flashlight

The witness and a companion were spending time outside a house at night when they heard agitated animals, loud sniffing and an aggressive grunt from a field across the road. After getting a rifle and flashlight, they shone light across the road and saw two crouched figures about 15 feet away. One figure stood upright on two legs and appeared very large with its forearms resting on a 5-foot fence, while the other stayed crouched, and after a brief stare the witnesses went inside.

Fresh tracks seen, yells heard, by hikers near Rooster Rock

The witness and a companion were hiking a remote trail when they found large footprints in mud, much longer than the witness's shoe with a long stride. On the return hike they found additional prints reversing direction and felt watched. A large unseen thing then rushed toward them through the forest breaking vegetation, prompting the witness to fire shots in the air, after which it retreated uphill and loud yells were heard from two directions before they left.

Hikers followed in woods

Two people hiked up a terraced cedar slope and found large bipedal tracks and a single large bed. The witness heard a rock fall into a creek and glimpsed a black shape that kept stopping behind trees 50-60 meters away. While returning down a narrow overgrown road, they heard heavy footsteps breaking sticks that paralleled them within about 10 feet for 60 to 80 meters before stopping.

Big tracks with huge stride found

A family of five driving between Grand Prairie and Tumbler Ridge stopped on Boot Lake Road and found large barefoot human-like footprints in snow in a roadside ditch. About eight prints were clear, with a ninth leading into brush where willows were bent and broken. They estimated the size and stride but did not follow or photograph them because the children were frightened.

Late one dark evening the witness went behind the house to release tied dogs. A very tall, wide, white-gray fur-covered figure stood motionless a few feet away upright like a man. The witness avoided looking directly, released the dogs, and walked away; one dog halted and cowered while the figure stared without moving or making sound, eventually letting them leave.

The witness stayed at a remote boat-access camp fishing from the bank while others were away night-fishing or asleep. Around 11:30 p.m. the witness heard two identical loud piercing screams about 30 seconds apart from an estimated 75-100 yards away. No source was seen and no boats were heard, and the witness later told the returning companions about the sounds.

In March 2001 at about 4:30 a.m., the witness was driving home from work on back dirt roads when a tall bipedal figure crossed in front of the headlights in two to three strides. The figure stepped over a fence into a field and disappeared from view. It was described as 6-7 feet tall with long arms and long grayish hair, possibly dust-coated, moving in a lumbering fast walk.

Investigators found fresh broken trees, dozens of footprints and two nests where a trail crossed a road and staked out the spot. No creature was seen, but something large moving on two feet approached the stakeout before fleeing downhill through brush when a car passed. The sign was documented the next day with footprint and tree-break measurements and a body-length impression in one nest.

Hikers make track find on Table Rock Creek, Oregon

On March 18, 2001, two brothers hiking near Table Rock Wilderness found large bare-foot-like prints in snow that were larger and deeper than their own boot prints. They photographed the prints with a dollar bill for scale and estimated a 4-foot stride. No animal was seen, and a search of other prints found no hair.

A forestry paint-crew driver backing his truck into a turnout reported seeing a red-haired biped cross the road in about a second and disappear downhill toward a wet area. Two students with him did not see the animal but reported feeling watched and urging to leave. Investigators visiting days later described large pad marks and indistinct imprints on game trails at the crossing.

Daytime sighting by hiker, off West Sopris Creek Road

The witness was hiking with dogs on a packed snow trail when other dogs began barking at something ahead. He saw a gorilla-like furry creature sitting in the shade of a pine about 50 yards away watching the dogs. After he tripped in a snow hole, the creature left over the ridge, showing only the back of its head. Deep snow prevented him from following or finding tracks.
