The witness's friend was inside a small rural house at night when he got up for a drink and noticed a pair of red-glowing eyes a short distance away. The eyes were estimated at 7-8 feet high and appeared to move across the property, stopping to focus on him when he moved, for several minutes. The friend then fled with a handgun to stay elsewhere.

The witness was camping with a companion in a yurt at Lake Selmac Campground. In the morning the witness stepped outside and noticed a strong rotten-garbage odor with no visible source. About half an hour later both people heard a very loud, unfamiliar vocalization that the witness associated with a Sasquatch.

The witness and their brother heard a loud vocalization while eating dinner at camp. They described it as a long, very loud howl ending in a whoop. Their dogs hid silently behind a log and other animals went quiet. He saw only the upper body and head for about three seconds before a bank and foliage blocked the view. His companion was asleep and saw nothing, and he was unable to stop or return to the location.

The witness was riding at the back of a large group of ATVs at night through a muddy, wooded trail. As he approached a large tree, he made eye contact with a tall, muscular, hair-covered figure pressed flat against the tree with its hands on the trunk. After a stare lasting about 15 seconds, the witness rode past within a few feet, looked back, and saw the figure take one quick step and disappear into the darkness.
Jogger has daylight sighting on Prairie Trail near Algonquin
The witness was jogging north on a prairie trail in daylight when they saw a large furry figure walking ahead with its back to them. As they approached, the figure looked larger and hair-covered, then went around a bend near a stream and retention pond. The witness continued ahead but found no one on the trail, and on the return looked into a dark opening by a fence near the water before leaving.

After noticing a strong rotten-egg and wet-dog odor, the witness saw a large dark hair-covered figure standing by a palm 300-500 yards away and facing the road. The view lasted only a few seconds before roadside trees blocked it. After turning around and returning, the figure was gone but a strange smell lingered.

Two brothers were camping overnight in a popup camper while on a grouse hunting trip. In the middle of the night the camper was shaken several times, prompting one witness to go outside with a flashlight. He heard something walking in the timber but saw nothing when he shone the light, then after returning inside heard a series of loud whoops from a distance.

The witness awoke in a truck at a forest campsite around dawn and briefly saw a dark figure run between a tent and a parked vehicle. She first thought it was a companion, but the companion was elsewhere in camp and moved more slowly. The figure was visible only for a fraction of a second from the torso up and was not seen again. No footprints were found afterward despite wet ground.

The sounds included a distant deep call, loud siren-like screams, and chattering with tongue-clicking, while neighboring dogs barked during parts of the sequence. A family driving back to their mountain cabin at night rounded a turn and saw a tall, dark-haired biped walking on the roadside. All four family members watched it take several strides on the pavement before it left the shoulder and went down toward a creek without acknowledging them. The parents had glimpsed a similar figure in nearly the same spot the previous night. The next day the family found slide marks and a broken branch near the creek and learned another family had also seen the creature.

On a Friday night during an archery-hunt camping trip, the witness and a relative sat by the campfire while two unseen presences circled the camp, breaking branches, pacing, and making heavy footsteps. Small rocks and sticks were then thrown into camp, including a softball-sized rock that landed nearby, followed by impacts on a food box and the trailer. Others sheltering in the trailer also heard footsteps, breaking branches, impacts, and a heavy sigh, and later a branch-like object was dragged across the trailer roof.

After rounding a bend, the witness saw a tall, dark-brown, long-haired bipedal animal running away through the forest for about 10-15 seconds. The witness stopped and then searched where it crossed, but found no clear tracks on the trail and no hair or broken vegetation.

At dusk the witness heard a weed-eater-like whirling sound from the woods behind the backyard and walked back to investigate. He saw a dark figure sitting with its back to him that stood up, gathered something to its chest, and quickly left into the woods. He described the figure as female, about six feet tall, about 30 yards away.
Motorists see an ape run across Hwy 26 near dusk outside of Rhododendron
Two companions were driving west on Highway 26 after a fishing trip when they slowed near stopped cars. An ape-like creature sprang from the woods very close to their car and ran behind it across the road from north to south, moving on its knuckles with unusual quickness and nearly being hit by a following car. Other stopped drivers honked during the crossing.
Couple camping NW of Mt. Rainier hear loud vocals and footsteps
The witness and a companion camped overnight in a wooded area. Around 3 a.m. the witness heard a very loud whoop-like vocalization nearby that ended in a bird-like sound, followed shortly by a distant answering call. When the witness shone a flashlight toward the treeline, something nearby fled at a jog, producing audible heavy footsteps. The companion later reported hearing another more distant vocalization, and a morning search found no clear tracks in dense underbrush.
