Two people camping near a ravine heard rhythmic steps and saw a pair of large, long black-haired legs walking across the slope about 30 yards away. The companion moved closer but dense trees prevented a view of the full figure. After relocating their tent near other campers, both were awakened around 3 a.m. by heavy pounding nearby followed by three high shrill screams.

The witness was driving at night near a railroad crossing when he noticed a very large, light-colored, hair-covered creature walking along the road with its back toward him. As he drove closer and passed it, he screamed in terror while the creature continued walking without reacting. Two companions were fishing from an anchored boat at dusk near a cattail-lined bank where they had previously found prints. One pointed out a tall, black, large-built figure standing above the 6- to 7-foot cattails downriver. The figure stood briefly, then stepped back and walked away into the woods through a channel, and the witnesses chose not to follow.

The witness and a friend were sitting on a forest trail near a small lake during the day when they noticed a foul odor. The friend gave a warning and fled, and the witness then saw a large furry biped running across the trail, seen from the waist down, before it disappeared into the woods. The pair returned to the house and found no tracks when they checked the next day.

While driving south on US 281 before dawn, the witness saw a tall hair-covered figure cross the highway in the headlights and stop in the roadside ditch. As he passed, he observed its large upper body, human-like face, and yellowish-green eyes watching him before it turned into the brush. He briefly considered turning back but continued driving, later questioning what he had seen.

Years later while working as a truck driver, the guest stopped at a truck stop south on Highway 97 and joined a convoy heading north. Turning, they saw a tall hairy biped stop and stand motionless as if trying to avoid notice. After staring for about 10-15 seconds, the witness recognized it as a Sasquatch and ran back to the house.

Two rocks came from their right, the first landing between them and the second seen in mid-air. The witness looked toward the throw and saw a large hairy biped under a white oak about 60-80 feet away from the knees up, which turned and left over a rise. They ran to the spot but it was gone, noticed a static-like charge, then hiked out uneasy.

Late at night at the witness's home near dense woods, the witness was getting into a car when a noise prompted turning on the headlamps. A tall figure was seen peeking from behind a tree about 30 feet away and held eye contact for several seconds. The figure then turned and ran for several hundred feet, clearing a 5-6 foot fence without breaking stride despite fog.

In the fall of 1994 the witness walked into the woods behind the home at night with a flashlight and shotgun to scare deer away. He shone the light on a tall, broad, fur-covered figure standing still in brush whose eyes reflected the light. The figure grunted, yelled and moved toward him, the witness fired three times at close range then fled to the house, hearing it run and give a long loud warbling yell.

The witness was riding as a front-seat passenger with two companions driving slowly on a winding park road at night with high beams on. The witness saw a large upright hair-covered being run across the road in front of the car and climb the bank into dense thickets. The driver saw movement but not details, and the occupants heard sounds of it moving upslope through leaf litter before it disappeared.

The witness was squirrel hunting in thick woods when they walked by an animal about ten feet away without noticing it. The animal then ran off bipedally with a striding gait while making a monkey-like screaming sound. The witness first thought it was a bear but concluded a bear could not run on two feet and called it bigfoot.

The witness was walking a logging-road loop with two dogs in the afternoon when the woods went quiet and the dogs froze. About 50-60 yards uphill the witness saw a very large shape standing among oaks and brush. The shape grabbed and shook two oak trees and made a loud wailing scream, after which the dogs disappeared and the witness left quickly for the house.

After taking a defensive position near a road crossing, two members using night-vision goggles observed a tall figure with broad shoulders partly obscured behind a large oak tree. The group continued the mission and later reported the incident to the commanding officer, who dismissed it.
