The witness, then 8, was collecting cans alone at the backyard woods edge when they heard something large running nearby. Turning, they saw a tall hairy biped stop and stand motionless as if trying to avoid notice. After staring for about 10-15 seconds, the witness recognized it as a Sasquatch and ran back to the house.
