Two motorists sighting of a sasquatch 4 miles south of Silverton BC on Hwy 6 near Slocan Lake
While driving home at night, two vehicle occupants reported seeing a very large man-like figure standing on two legs near the highway that then dropped to all fours. The other occupants did not see the figure. Shortly afterward four people returned to the spot and reported finding a line of deep massive bipedal tracks in snow, which they photographed and filmed.

The witness and spouse were driving a motorhome south on Highway 37 when a single bipedal figure emerged from forest on one side, crossed two lanes in full view, and disappeared into forest on the other side. The figure was described as over 7 feet tall, covered head to foot in dark brown hair, walking almost completely erect with broad strides. Both occupants observed the crossing from about 50 yards away around 10 a.m. and could not stop due to lack of shoulder and truck traffic.

Hearing steady rock-rolling sounds, he approached quietly and watched a slender hairy female and two small juveniles foraging among rocks and putting items in their mouths. A much larger female then emerged and caught a small rodent, which a huge male rushed out to snatch and eat. After the animals stood and scanned the treeline while sniffing deeply, the witness radioed a bear alert, a helicopter buzzed the area scattering the group, and he returned to the helipad where the pilot said others had reported similar encounters.

While driving to work before dawn on a logging road, the witness encountered a dark figure on the road and initially assumed it was a bear. As headlights illuminated it, the figure was seen running bipedally down the road for about 100 feet before veering off through a ditch and up a bank into bushes. The witness described a tall, dark-haired, unclothed biped with lighter patches on its back and rump that never looked back. Later that day the witness found and photographed indistinct footprints at the site.

A tractor-trailer driver who had overnighted in a parking lot drove east past campgrounds around 5 a.m. He noticed a very tall figure walking away from him on the road, which stepped into the ditch, stopped, and turned to stare at him. The figure was described as muscular yet slender with long arms and dark to reddish-brown hair. The forest had gone quiet beforehand, the witness was stunned and unable to speak, then left the area.
