After tripping over a log, the witness saw a very tall, upright figure covered in dark brown matted fur standing by a tree. The figure glanced briefly then walked away while the witness screamed, then the witness ran back to the group. A slight funky odor was also noticed.

The witness, a camp volunteer, followed two campers about 60 yards down a dark trail away from the campsite. A tall slim figure crossed the path about 10 feet beyond the nearest camper. One camper on the ground claimed to see it again moments later, while the other camper beside the witness saw nothing, and a next-day search found no signs.

Two coworkers were driving home late at night in steady rain when they noticed a very tall, bulky, hair-covered figure standing at the edge of the highway facing their car. The figure had long shaggy yellowish hair that obscured its face and appeared to be holding a tarp-like covering over its shoulders and chest. After passing it, both occupants agreed it was too tall and hairy to be human, but they were too frightened to turn back for another look.

In May 1998 the witness hiked alone to Minnehaha Falls near Lake Rabun and remained until after dark. After noticing a bad smell and a squatting figure he mistook for another hiker, he approached and saw a very tall, dark-brown, hair-covered biped that stood, walked away with long strides, then stepped toward him before leaving. The witness drew his service pistol and shouted, after which the creature walked away, and he left the area without telling anyone at the time.

The witness was driving on a highway through forest and swamp late at night when a small fox-like animal ran along and across the road. Immediately after, a large upright shaggy creature leapt across the highway in front of the car from right to left and disappeared into roadside vegetation. The witness reported a foul odor just before the sighting and glowing amber eyes reflecting the headlights, and swerved slightly before continuing home shaken.

Around 2 a.m. the witness was driving home and came around the dog-leg of a dead-end road. Headlights illuminated a large hairy biped crossing the road from right to left toward woods by a stable in front of the family home. The witness braked and watched it cross in a few steps, then drove up the dirt lane without seeing it again. The follow-up summary dates the road crossing to 1998.

About seven years ago a group camping near a secluded lake sat around a campfire late at night. A small bipedal figure about four feet tall emerged from the woods, ran toward the lake in moonlight, circled while waving its arms and vocalizing, then ran back into the woods. The witness was driving early on a snowy January morning near Rt. 55 in the Seneca Valley when they noticed a very tall, dark, fuzzy ape-like creature standing upright just off the road. The creature then stepped into the road, and the witness swerved to avoid hitting it.

The witness and two companions were driving on a dirt road at night using a spotlight to look for deer, with the witness sitting in the truck bed holding the light. The witness illuminated a huge bear-like figure with red eyes at the edge of the woods and estimated its height at about 6 feet 5 inches to 7 feet. The witness quickly climbed into the truck cab through the rear window. A companion on the same side of the truck also saw the figure.
