Bigfoot creature being seen & heard throughout night and footprint evidence found
Between midnight and 5 a.m. residents of an apartment building heard branch-breaking and other noises. The following morning footprints were found widely in the area, including across the street. A sighting was also reported outside a resident's window at 5 a.m. on August 9, 1997, amid similar activity said to have persisted for weeks.
Recollection of seeing a huge bipedal shadow while camping that steals food near Steelville
The witness was camping alone in a tall tent when something large approached at night. A tall shadow with broad shoulders was cast on the tent by an outside lantern. The visitor opened food containers, ate bread, growled, overturned a cooler and carried off meat before leaving toward the river where vocalizations were heard. Large footprints and teeth marks were found the following morning.
Possible vocalization and camp stalking in Raven Cliffs Wilderness Area
The witness and two companions made a late-night camp in a forest clearing. While trying to sleep the witness heard movement in the treeline followed by a grunt and a loud unfamiliar scream estimated 50 to 100 yards away. In the morning the group found unfamiliar prints beside the fire pit and then left the area.
Two witnesses discover and document a large three-toed track
While hunting bears in timber country, the witness and a relative entered a clear-cut and noticed a large footprint in mud on a slope above a logging road. The impression was described as human-like with three toes and measuring about 14 by 7 inches. The witness later returned to create a plaster cast that was videotaped and photographed.
Hikers find tracks and a possible nest
Two people backpacking found several large fresh bipedal footprints on a steep forest slope. One track was measured at 16 inches long, with a stride over four feet that was difficult to replicate on the slope. They followed the tracks uphill to a large volcano-shaped nest of pine needles and photographed the track and nest.

The witness and a relative were hiking near Helmets Peak at mid-day. They reported finding a large human-like footprint in very rough, rocky ground with widely spaced trees. The print was described as about the size of the relative's foot or larger.

The witness was accompanying a friend on an elk hunt and walking along a creek in a saddle when they noticed a very large human-like footprint in melting snow. After studying the unclear single print and showing it to the friend, who noted faint toes, they continued down the creek. About 100 yards away they found six or seven more similar large prints in snow and mud with three to five toes visible.
Forest Service surveyor finds over 20 large foot prints along a forest service road
The witness stopped after noticing large footprints on the side of a road and found over 20 tracks that entered the woods, crossed the road, and continued into the woods. The tracks had five toes, were larger than the witness's size-12 boot, and sank deeper than the witness's boot print. Deer tracks and deer hair were also present around the tracks. The witness left to get a camera and returned to take five Polaroid photos of the tracks.
Night time road side observation
The witness was driving slowly back into a rural subdivision at night in sleet and ice with bright lights on. The witness saw a large hairy mass the size of a large deer on the roadside that stood up, took two steps, dropped to its knuckles and lunged into the woods. A relative riding in the vehicle did not confirm the sighting, and a same-night search with another relative found nothing. After being iced in for three days, the witness returned and found a single footprint, which was stepped in and destroyed.
Campers hear loud vocalizations and find footprints near Loucks Mills
Three people camping at night heard loud crashing, howling, hooting and screaming sounds circling their camp and then moving up a neighboring hill until gone. The owls they had been calling to fell silent for the rest of the night. The next morning they found large human-like footprints in mud around the camp and broken tree limbs.
Deer hunters find footprints in mud
While hunting deer with a companion in October 1996, the witness found two well-defined human-like footprint sets in mud of very different sizes. About five minutes later a very loud pounding was heard from dense woods downhill no more than about 50 feet away, prompting them to move away. About 300 yards away they found a third footprint set intermediate in size between the first two.
Two people in canoe see creature on shoreline
Two companions fishing from a canoe at dusk noticed a dark crouched shape on the shoreline about 50 yards away. As they rowed closer the shape stood upright to about seven feet, looked toward them, turned toward a twig-snapping sound behind it, then spun and ran into the forest with further movement sounds heard. After waiting in the canoe, they paddled ashore and found two obscured marks in the sand where it had turned.
Witness noticed very strange prints on the ground
The witness and a relative were bow hunting in a burned area of national forest in the early afternoon. After parking, the witness walked a short distance into the woods and found 8 to 12 large human-like footprints. They examined the tracks for about 30 minutes without seeing a creature or hearing unusual sounds, then left the area.
Placerville track found and cast
The witness reports discovering several large footprints near a small stream northeast of Placerville, with broken branches nearby. Only one print was clear enough to photograph, and the witness returned the next day to make a plaster cast. The cast was shown to Fish and Game staff who dismissed it, and it has since been kept in storage.
Brushfire fighters find and photograph large track in remote area on the northside of Lac Seul
The witness reports that co-workers found a single very large footprint in dry mud while working on a remote forest fire. The co-workers photographed the print with a tape measure for scale. The witness does not state that they personally saw the track.

The witness found two unusual footprints in the evening and made plaster casts and footage of them. Later, while sleeping alone in a tent, the witness was awakened by heavy footsteps, ground vibrations, and breaking branches very close by. Upon exiting the tent with a flashlight, the witness saw and smelled nothing, then packed up and left.
Runner finds large tracks near North Fork
The witness ran about three miles up an unused dusty fire road while making noise with rocks in a bottle to avoid bears, then turned back. About a mile into the return they noticed two sets of large human-like footprints crossing their own tracks diagonally that had not been there on the way up. The witness described a large set and a smaller miniature set and then ran out of the area quickly.

The witness claims finding a fresh large footprint in muddy ground near a river in the early afternoon, with photographs taken and others present. At the same time the group heard noises from underbrush up the hill. They thought the noise could possibly have been a herd of elk.
17-18 inch tracks in the mud
The witness was hiking in a remote, semi-hilly wooded area when they came across large tracks in mud estimated at about 17-18 inches. They also noticed a strong unpleasant odor and found a pile of long dark brown fur on the ground near a tree. No creature itself was reported as seen.

The witness and a companion were driving logging roads looking for footprints. About 20 feet off a secluded logging road they found multiple footprints about 14 inches long in firm ground. They were able to follow the prints for 15 feet before losing the trail.
