In early summer 2007 the witness was traveling north on Highway 259 near Big Cedar in the morning. About a half-mile ahead, a tall, very dark bipedal figure with long arms crossed the highway. The figure was uniformly dark brown to black from head to feet.

The witness and his wife were driving south on the Richardson Highway on a Sunday morning to get breakfast when a very large furry biped ran across the road in front of them. It crossed in only a few running steps and went into the ditch and timber. The witness described its arms and legs as human-like and its fur as dark possibly with auburn tips, and judged it too large and fast to be a human.

The witness was driving northbound on I-5 through Centralia in a snowstorm shortly after midnight. A large dark humanoid figure crossed the highway from east to west in front of the vehicle and went over the center median without apparent effort. The witness saw its silhouetted head and shoulders against distant lights as it continued west across the southbound lanes while oncoming cars braked.

A very large, black-haired biped ran across the road from left to right in about two seconds, covering the lanes in two leaps. The figure appeared hunched forward with long arms swinging low, briefly turned its head toward the driver, then disappeared into an open field.

The figure moved very quickly on two legs on a diagonal path and disappeared within seconds. The witness later returned to search both sides of the highway for tracks but found none.

The witness was driving to work before dawn when the headlights lit up a very tall, dark, hairy biped in the road ahead. The figure crossed from left to right at a brisk walk with swinging arms and disappeared into vegetation at the roadside without looking at the driver. The witness later returned in daylight with a companion and noted worn crossing areas on both sides of the road.

The witness was driving south on Highway 11 late at night with a bright light bar on when a tall hairy biped crossed the road ahead and stepped over a guardrail into the trees. The witness slowed, noted large wet footprints on the pavement where it crossed, then turned around and drove back but saw only a disturbed spot at the treeline. The witness estimated the creature was 7-8 feet tall with reddish-brown shaggy hair and a large chest, seen for only a couple seconds.

A couple was driving on an old muddy road near a campground searching for a place to camp. The wife, riding as passenger, glimpsed from the corner of her eye a tall upright dark figure emerging from the tree line toward the road that then went back into the woods. The husband, who was driving, saw nothing. The glimpse lasted only a few seconds in daylight.

As they started to back up, a very dark, man-like figure ran across the road into the woods. The witness described it as too large for a black bear and not an elk, said it disappeared from view, and said they were left intensely frightened.

The figure moved quickly in a smooth bipedal walk, covering the road in three or four long strides, unlike a bounding deer. After riding through the crossing location, the witness smelled a light skunky body odor lingering for several yards.

The witness was driving westbound on a highway with family in the van when she saw a fur-covered bipedal figure very close to the road. The figure walked parallel to the highway and crossed a side road from ditch to ditch in a few seconds. She described long grey to brown wire-like hair and estimated its height around six feet. Family members in the vehicle did not see it, and she kept driving without turning back.

The witness was driving family members back to a hotel at night when she saw a very large solid black bipedal figure cross the road in front of the car. She described it as extremely broad and muscular, visible only as blackness with no discernible features, showing its side as it moved quickly from right to left into the woods. No other occupants saw it because they were not looking, and she did not stop because the children were frightened.

She slowed, maintained eye contact for several seconds as she passed within a short distance, and noticed a musty odor. After she passed, she saw in the mirror that the figure crossed the two-lane highway in two steps and disappeared into the woods.

The witness was riding in a car north of Mt. Gilead around noon when an entity appeared about 200 feet ahead. It crossed the highway in two bounds within five to six seconds and headed toward railroad tracks, disappearing before the car reached the spot. The driver did not see it because he was looking in the side mirror at a car behind.

The witness rode as a passenger in a car with three relatives on a back road after leaving the interstate. About 50 yards ahead, a huge wide-shouldered figure ran across the road on two legs into dense woods. The witness and the driving daughter saw the crossing, with the witness reporting more detail about its size and shape. A pack of dogs was noticed sniffing and acting excited on the road just past the crossing point.

He saw a large upright figure crossing ahead, coming from the direction of the river and heading toward the bluffs. The figure walked very quickly with long strides and swinging arms across an open planted field. The witness followed briefly by vehicle but remained about 100 yards away before the figure disappeared into woods after about one to two minutes.

The son was driving home late at night when his headlights lit up a tall dark figure at the desert edge by the development gates. The figure walked away past reflective barricades and frightened him so badly he ran inside to tell his father. The family later found a large footprint outline and had doorbell video of him running inside.

The witness was driving on Williard Road toward its junction in late afternoon when headlights revealed a large black figure in the roadway. The figure appeared to move on all fours across the road, then rose to two legs at the bank and walked into the woods, showing a tall build with a conical head, longer arms, bulky legs, and no clothing, snout, or bear-like ears. The witness first mistook it for a huge bear or multiple deer or elk before concluding it was a Sasquatch. A return visit to look for tracks found nothing after heavy rain.
