After smelling a musky odor and hearing leaves rustling behind the stand, the witness turned and saw a large dark-brown hairy biped across the creek about 60 yards away walking parallel to the water. The creature briefly turned its head toward the witness, continued swiftly with its arms swinging, and stayed in view for 10 to 15 seconds before moving away through trees.

The witness reports ongoing nighttime disturbances over about a month, coinciding with logging on an adjacent property. They then heard loud heavy bipedal footsteps with cracking wood approaching their camp. The witness searched the treeline with a flashlight and vehicle high beams but saw nothing, then the entity ran away crashing through limbs and exhaling loudly. At daylight they found broken branches and bare-foot slide marks, then broke camp and left.

Loud bird-like whistling kept pace nearby, pebbles and rocks landed precisely at the feet, a large stick landed pointing at the witness, and loud trudging was heard. The witness and his son were deer hunting from a blind in darkness before dawn. After the son woke the sleeping witness, they heard something large moving fast through brush behind the blind. It screamed, stomped hard enough to shake the ground, snapped limbs, and grunted and growled before leaving quickly. The pair then left the area immediately.

The witness said he went outside at night with a flashlight and a handgun after suspecting someone was stealing gas from his truck. About 20 yards away he noticed an unusual bush-like shape that stood up to about 8 feet tall, showing a pale ring around its face and reddish-brown body hair, with red eye reflection. After holding gazes briefly, the figure turned and walked out of the yard past an empty house and up the street out of sight.

While the companions scanned with night vision and a camcorder, the investigator illuminated a sasquatch-like figure standing close below the rocks with a headlamp and watched it withdraw and walk away. The companions recorded eyeshine in the opposite direction, suggesting a second animal, and the group heard footsteps following them as they descended. They later reviewed the tape and confirmed eyeshine had been recorded.

Two companions paddled a small boat up a remote swampy creek in the late afternoon. A large rock was thrown from the wooded bank and splashed into the creek ahead of them, after which one of them fired warning shots and they turned back. As they paddled back after dark, they heard heavy footsteps in the woods that stopped when they stopped paddling and resumed when they paddled, continuing until they reached the road.

As a teenager living on his mother's horse farm, the guest repeatedly heard loud dawn screams and movement near the trash burn pit. One snowy night the household arrived to find the porch light out and heard a whimpering cry and heavy bipedal steps moving around the house and into the woods, followed by a loud hiss that shook the horse barn where a large dog was chained. The next morning the family found large barefoot-like tracks in snow leading from the driveway around the house and over a fence, which they followed for about half a mile and photographed beside a size 14 shoe.
