Train spotters describe night time incident at Folkston Funnel (railroad junction)
Four people were train-spotting and camping by railroad tracks at night when they heard noise in brush across the tracks and saw eyeshine and a large silhouette swaying. They reported a foul odor, cats fleeing, and rocks thrown toward them from the brush direction, with impacts sparking on the tracks. One teen went inside while the remaining witnesses heard chatter and a branch snap south of the first figure, leading the witness to think two creatures were present. The witness then lit the brush and saw a tall bipedal silhouette stand before it disappeared, with no further activity over the next two nights.
YESTERDAY (09/01/2024): Hikers hear chatter and whoops of a large animal in Founders Grove, 33mi SE of Eureka
The witness and a companion were hiking the Founders Grove loop just after sunset when the woods went quiet and they heard chattering vocalizations. They felt immediate dread and judged whatever made the sounds to be huge. As they retreated toward their vehicle they heard movement in brush going deeper into the woods, and when the witness whooped back the chatter answered again. They hurried back to their car.
Bigfoot howls and chatter 18 miles NW of Cincinatti
The witness went outside in the early morning to start a car for work and heard loud howling sounds resembling a weather siren. The howls were heard multiple times, followed briefly by chatter-like sounds leading into another howl. After about three minutes the witness got in the car and left. No creature was seen.
Wood knock in Mississippi (2023)
While bow hunting on private family land, the guest heard repeated loud wood knocks all afternoon. Walking out after dark he heard a loud guttural growl, movement in brush, rapid chatter-like vocalizations, a human-like whistle on one side and a low hoof-like reply on the other. He walked quickly to meet his friend and left equipment to retrieve by truck.

On a preliminary night walk with the group the witness moved ahead to listen while others stayed behind. He heard twig breaks moving across his front, a group leader later reported a head peeking around a tree on thermal, another participant reported a dark hunched silhouette moving along a ridge, and the group heard chattering from downhill. The sounds stopped when approached and the group returned.
Possible bigfoot whoops heard 60 southeast of Duluth
Three companions were fishing quietly from a dock in the early morning darkness when they heard three extremely loud, deep whoops from nearby behind them. The sound was followed by a period of complete silence, then faint distant chatter described as like children from across the lake. They could see nothing in the dark and later found they could not reproduce the volume and depth of the whoops.
Kayakers report camp intimidation all night long on Lower Buffalo River
Two campers floating and fishing the Lower Buffalo River heard loud monkey-like vocalizations from the bank and later camped on a gravel bar. Through the night they reported repeated wood knocks, yells, chatter, whistles, a tree snap, and cantaloupe-sized rocks landing in the river from the ridge across from camp. They lit the camp, kept fire watch in shifts, and at dawn packed and paddled out after a final rock fell in front of them.

The witness and a companion camped in a tent near a pond and listened through most of the night to repeated whoops, howls, whistles, gibberish-like chatter and rumbling from multiple directions across the water and woods. Later something splashed and charged in the water near the tent, followed by loud snorts, breathing, and footsteps on a nearby dirt road, while movement was heard between the tent and fire. The witness searched outside with a light and firearm but saw nothing, and the sounds stopped after dawn.
Chatter and knock heard on the Broad River, 5 miles NE of Gaffney
The witness was camping overnight with two companions. After the group made a howl and a growl, they heard chatter from across the parking lot followed seconds later by a wood knock from farther away in the same direction. The witness answered with two wood knocks using a stick but got no response.
Whistle near Burkeville, Texas (2021)
About a month after the first incident, the witness returned to the family property in the evening to check an area that had been logged. Loud whistles, a laugh-like vocalization, gibberish responses, and a distant silhouette were encountered. The witness shouted threats, fired twice toward sounds and movement, then left the fire burning and drove away.
Growl near Willow Creek, California (2020)
The witness and a companion parked at a rocky river beach for the night in an SUV with the hatch open. After rain and fog set in they heard a low guttural growl followed by a loud scream and multiple high and low voices that seemed to talk, howl and laugh while surrounding the vehicle, plus loud thumps. Terrified, they drove to a friend's house and waited until sunrise, then returned to find all gear untouched and no tracks.

On September 8 or 9, 2020 around 11 a.m., the witness was fishing alone on the northwest side of a lake in a wildlife area. He heard chimp-like chirping from the brush less than 50 feet behind him lasting one to two seconds before stopping abruptly. He turned to look into the brush and trees but saw nothing, then quickly worked around the lake to the parking lot and went home.

The witness and her husband were checking a friend's secluded cabin when they heard child-like hollering behind the cabin. The witness followed the sounds uphill while staying in radio contact, hearing limb-cracks like footsteps and feeling disoriented. She photographed the rock outcropping where the sounds seemed to originate. Later after charging her phone at the cabin, she examined the photo and perceived a figure standing behind a tree looking toward her.
Elk hunter reports trees being pushed over and vocalizations in the Colonel Bob Wilderness
On opening day of elk season the witness camped alone on a remote spur road after hunting all day. After dark he struck a tree with a limb, then heard a large tree pushed over upslope, primate-like yells and chatter from both upslope and the ravine below, and heavy footsteps. Unnerved by the sense of being surrounded, he packed up and drove out without seeing anything.
Possible ongoing activity at a farmhouse outside Torrington
The witness reports ongoing nighttime disturbances at a rural home shared with a spouse. Strange noises begin at dusk and continue through the night, with knocking, dragging and loud thumps on the house and high windows recurring every couple of months. An investigator later noted additional whoops, chatter and wood-knocks from the timber line and cattle becoming agitated late at night. The witnesses state they have never seen the source and no tracks have been found.
Chatter in Washington (2016)
The witness arrived before dawn to turkey hunt from a stick blind he had built the prior week. Before daylight he heard mumbling like people talking from in front and to the left. A tall hairy biped then stepped from brush, stood looking north, vocalized, left, returned, and was joined by a shorter female carrying an infant; both then walked west across the meadow and the witness left.

The witness was with two companions at a parking lot late at night during a group expedition. They walked toward a beaten crossing area and heard very close low guttural sounds, then backed out together. The witness also describes finding a detailed multi-size trackway in sand and hearing monkey-like chatter and a scream-like holler that night.

The witness joined a multi-day guided expedition in dense woods. The group found distinct five-toed tracks, heard an owl-call answered oddly, heard a warning-like howl and later chatter, and saw saplings broken at angles. While forward of the group at night the witness used thermal to see a large heat mass between trees that vanished, and shortly after others in the same vicinity were growled at.
Multiple incidents reported by multiple hunters near Sam Rayburn Lake
The witness's husband was hunting alone from an elevated stand on the evening of November 18, 2019. He heard a series of loud vocalizations, howls, knocks and gibberish-like sounds from dense brush, with a second individual answering from down a draw. After he shouted a warning and fired a shot toward advancing growls, two unseen creatures charged through the brush chasing him to the road, where they stopped as he fled to his truck.
Campers have possible encounter while staying in High Point State Park
Two brothers camped overnight beside a lake in the park. During the night and again after dawn they repeatedly heard a loud aggressive exhale-like sound nearby, along with footsteps and branches breaking as something moved through the forest, followed by scream-like sounds that turned into chatter. In daylight they found a matted vegetation bed, a fresh flattened trail, and footprints in mud where the sounds had come from. The entity itself was never seen.
