The witness was driving on a two-lane highway through dense woods in east Texas after midnight with high beams on. A tall hairy figure stepped from the woods toward the road, turned to face the car, then stepped back into the woods while still looking toward the car. The witness got a close, well-lit view of its face and body before it disappeared into the dark woods.
Bigfoot howls heard west of Hideaway Lake, 9 miles south of Sabine River
The witness reports hearing prolonged howls from the forested area behind the home during the early morning hours, believing there were two sources at different distances. When the witness shone a flashlight toward the tree line the nearer howling stopped while the farther howling continued, followed by two metallic taps on a nearby wire fence line. Two neighbors later said they also heard the sounds. No visual observation is reported.
Sasquatch sighting near Garden Valley, Texas (2025)
A semi-truck driver reported seeing a dark, hairy upright figure walking across an open field toward dense woods in daylight. The figure was about 200 feet away, moving steadily with long arms swinging, and was watched for several seconds while driving past. The driver's spouse submitted the initial report, and researchers later interviewed the driver and visited the area but found no physical traces.

FIVE DAYS AGO (10/09/2024): Daylight sighting of a sasquatch on railroad tracks 60 miles northeast of Houston
The witness was driving north over railroad tracks in daylight and looked down the tracks for a train. The witness spotted a tall fur-covered figure less than 100 yards away that stepped over the tracks in one stride and took two more quick steps into the woods. The figure was estimated at about 9 feet tall with long arms and legs, but no face details were visible.
Whoop in Texas (2024)
The guest and a friend were standing at a boat ramp before dawn waiting for the boat owner. They heard a loud long whoop from the woods, then a shorter answering whoop from a different direction. Both stopped talking to listen. The guest says it was clearly not an owl and matched the classic whoop he knew from media.
Apparent bigfoot track (see photos) in Sulphur River bottom outside town of Bogota
The witness went to check cattle on leased land near the south Sulphur River and found a single clear heavy barefoot-like imprint in gravel-mixed soil just inside a gate in a secluded area. The witness noted only a few people have access and saw no reason for anyone to be barefoot there. The witness photographed the imprint with a scale object and searched the area for additional prints.

A couple driving at night spotted a large bipedal figure in their headlights near the roadside by a tree line. The figure, seen from behind, was described as very wide-shouldered and covered in long reddish-brown hair, with notably long arms. It paused briefly in the high beams then continued moving toward the trees as they drove past.
Mother and son near big hunting lease tract outside Buna report loud wood knocks at dusk
The witness and her son were hunting from a deer stand at dusk when they heard prolonged pig squealing followed by silence and then saw deer behaving erratically. Minutes later they heard repeated groups of wood-on-wood knocks answered from different directions, then a deep warbling growling talking-like sound that was not English. Frightened, they left the stand without ever seeing an animal.

A witness staying for a long weekend at a cabin near a lake reports repeated evening disturbances. Around sunset Thursday she heard a human-like owl hooting followed by birds falling silent, then a rock-like impact on the cabin wall. Similar rock-like impacts on the cabin were heard after dark on Friday and Saturday nights, and a companion later heard loud rustling and a loud tree-strike sound behind the cabin Sunday morning.
Couple describes sasquatch incidents around rural home 22 miles south of Longview
The witness was [name withheld] when she felt watched and noticed a pair of red eyes looking through the bathroom window, partly obscured by a plant. She looked away startled, the motion light came on, and when she looked back the eyes were gone. Her partner later estimated from her indication that the eyes had been about 6 ft 8 in to 7 ft off the ground and about 6 inches apart, and found no tracks or marks outside.

The witness and a relative were camped in a tent on a deer lease near a creek and river in Texas. Late at night they heard distant whooping calls that approached along the water to close range and continued for over an hour, ending with a deep powerful growl while the surrounding woods went silent. The witness reported falling asleep out of fear during the sounds, and no visual encounter was described.
Possible sighting by motorist in daylight between Lake O' the Pines and Ore City
The witness was driving after taking kids to school and slowing to turn when a tall black figure was noticed just behind the treeline. The figure was upright on two thick legs and ran quickly deeper into the woods when the witness slowed for a better look. Only a partial view was obtained, and the witness felt size, shape and speed did not match known local wildlife.

The guest was on his North Texas farm on a Saturday morning going to his prayer room when he saw a large reddish creature moving quickly across distant pastures. He recorded it on his phone from about 125 yards as it carried what looked like a gray deer on its back. The creature paused at a 48-inch fence, stepped over it easily, moved into trees, reappeared behind a post, then disappeared toward the east.
Whistle near Burkeville, Texas (2021)
About a month after the first incident, the witness returned to the family property in the evening to check an area that had been logged. Loud whistles, a laugh-like vocalization, gibberish responses, and a distant silhouette were encountered. The witness shouted threats, fired twice toward sounds and movement, then left the fire burning and drove away.

The witness rode an ATV to the back of the family property on a winter night with snow and ice. A light reflected eyes in a tree, then something growled, showed large teeth, and approached as snow crunched. Over about four years the household noticed odd sounds, smells and disturbances around their wooded Texas property. They heard voice-like calls, hoots, growls and repeated wood knocks, found scat, stripped and snapped trees, and missing bait. A wide bare footprint with a deep heel was later found in a raised garden bed after crops were taken, though neither person ever saw an animal.
