A couple driving at night spotted a large bipedal figure in their headlights near the roadside by a tree line. The figure, seen from behind, was described as very wide-shouldered and covered in long reddish-brown hair, with notably long arms. It paused briefly in the high beams then continued moving toward the trees as they drove past.

An investigator spoke with the witness at length by phone.
The witness and a neighbor returned to the sighting spot with spotlights the same night but saw nothing and found no distinct footprints.
