The witness was handling hay bales behind the house and went to retrieve one that had fallen near a swampy drop-off. After circling around a large tree, the witness saw a very large dark upright figure crashing away through vines and palmettos. The figure headed east then turned northwest, wading across a waist-deep canal on two legs before becoming obscured by brush.
Local resident has close range daylight road crossing encounter 8mi W of Natchitoches
The witness was driving home and turned onto a dirt road when a tall, russet-brown, hair-covered figure crossed the road about 50 feet ahead. It cleared the road in two or three steps and disappeared into pine trees. The sighting occurred about an hour before dark in clear, hot weather.

While driving home late at night on a dark rural road, the witness noticed reflective eyes ahead near a cane field and woodline. As he slowed and passed, he saw a very tall hair-covered biped standing and holding a deer, which stepped to watch him pass. He turned around to look again but the figure was gone, and he watched the area for several minutes without relocating it. He later connected the size and behavior to his earlier camp experience.

The witness was camped overnight in a remote forest clearing with his child while another camp was nearby. Around midnight the woods went silent and something large approached on two legs, walking around the tent and making contact along the roof. The witness stayed quiet in the tent holding a handgun until the visitor left toward the woods, with normal night sounds returning much later. In the morning no clear prints were found and the companion said he had heard movement.
Road crossing sighting by two witnesses on Hwy 175 between Many and Pleasant Hill
The witness was driving with two passengers on Highway 175 toward Many, Louisiana, when an upright, hairy, man-shaped creature crossed the road in a heavily wooded area. The witness saw its right arm and legs as it stepped into the woods and described it as huge and lanky with long hair hanging from its arms. The witness and a relative in the car both reacted verbally at the time and later said they no longer travel there at night.

Around midnight on January 21, 2017 the witness was making calls from the front porch and received a wood knock response from across the street, which drew the dog into the woods. When the dog went quiet the witness entered the woods, beat on an oak and shouted for the dog, then heard knocks, chest-beating, howls, a bluff charge and a tree pushed over while seeing eyeshine. After the witness told the entity to back away, the dog returned and they went home.
Woman has clear daytime view of a large Biped
On a rainy afternoon a woman who was home alone heard two whoops from the tree line behind her house. She looked up and watched a tall, dark-haired figure step out of the trees, walk five long steps to the side while looking down, and step back into the forest. She called a relative to return home, and a later visit to the spot found trampled vegetation, stacked broken limbs, and a strong odor.

While following a white sedan on a misty morning, the witness saw the car brake hard and then saw a huge black man-like figure stepping off the road into the grass. It filled his passenger window despite being twenty feet or more away. The sedan exited ahead and he did not speak with its occupants.
Possible encounter by hunters camping in the Kisatchie National Forest
The witness and a relative were sleeping in a tent at their hunting camp when loud screams woke the witness. After a long silent interval, something on two feet circled the tent, cast a tall shadow and scratched the fabric, then crossed a gravel road into the woods followed by repeated stick-struck sounds. The relative woke briefly and also heard part of the screaming. No tracks were found the next morning.

The witness was hunting from a chair in Kisatchie National Forest when he saw a very large, very black figure walking through open woods about 60 to 80 yards away. He watched it take about eight or nine steps before it went behind a fallen tree and did not reappear, then he left. He returned the next day to compare the nearby trees to estimate its size.

The witness went to a pond behind the house to get water for laundry after the storm. Across the pond a bear-like animal grabbed a catfish, then stood on two legs and stretched with the fish in its hands. It then turned and went back into the woods while the witness froze and then ran inside.

The witness and her college roommate were driving at night from her mother's village back toward campus. She slowed to look at what she first thought was a person peering into a house window. The figure turned toward the car and was recognized as a tall, fur-covered canine-like being that then ran toward them on two legs before dropping to four. They accelerated away onto the winding road toward the interstate and did not return.
While taking dog outside witness sees large bipedal shadow next to his shed
Late on a winter night the witness took the dog outside and saw a large hair-covered figure standing near a small building about 20-25 feet away. The witness and figure observed each other while the dog wanted to go inside and a strong foul smell was present. After briefly looking away at a noise, the witness went inside for a handgun, and on returning the figure was gone though sounds remained in the woods. A large footprint was found the next day.

Two officers driving in the early morning in central Louisiana stopped beside a freshly hit deer on the highway shoulder. They watched a large hair-covered human-like figure squatted beside the carcass raking insides out and eating rapidly. After watching for a couple minutes they drove around it at close range and left, later returning to find the carcass gone.
Strange late night sounds heard near Norwood
The witness was rabbit hunting at night and walking out of the woods along an old lane. Something in the brush to the side paced him for about 150 yards, stopping when he stopped, but his flashlight revealed nothing. Becoming scared, he turned off the light and ran to his truck.

The witness was driving west on a highway at dusk with headlights on when a tall hairy biped rose from a roadside ditch into the headlight beam. The witness described a very thin light-gray animal with a small round head, extra-long arms, and pale areas around the eyes standing upright. Alone and unable to turn, the witness continued driving without stopping.
Logger has two encounters over three day period
The witness and a companion were surveying a property line early in the morning when they saw a creature standing beside a large bush near a drying bayou about eighty feet away. One of them shouted at it and it fled north. Tracks and hair found at the site were later documented by an investigator, with the hair analysis determining the hairs were bovine.

The witness was driving west on a gravel road in the afternoon when a brownish-red creature crossed the road south to north a short distance ahead. The witness estimated it at 6-7 feet tall and over 300 pounds, moving very fast in a few steps with arms pumping and a hunched posture. The witness stopped at the crossing point but noted no odor and found no tracks due to hard ground.

The witness stopped after noticing large footprints on the side of a road and found over 20 tracks that entered the woods, crossed the road, and continued into the woods. The tracks had five toes, were larger than the witness's size-12 boot, and sank deeper than the witness's boot print. Deer tracks and deer hair were also present around the tracks. The witness left to get a camera and returned to take five Polaroid photos of the tracks.
