The driver was hauling a truck on the turnpike at night toward the terminal. A light first thought to be a plane or helicopter stayed hovering as the vehicle closed over several miles. While passing underneath, the driver saw a dark checkmark-shaped body overhead that did not move.

He watched a large dark female figure stalk tree to tree toward the hogs, then leap, scream, knock a hog into an oak and kill it by pounding its side. As he accelerated to pull onto the road he felt an unseen hand slap his leg onto the brake pedal. They crept forward and saw a large hairy creature bent over trying to grab trout with its hands for about 45 minutes without success. The dog barked frantically inside the thicket and a tall grayish-white creature burst out and ran through the brambles. The lead hunter fired both barrels of a shotgun at close range with no visible effect, and his companion fired twice more as it escaped in seconds. They estimated it at about nine feet tall with an extremely thick upper body.
