They slowed and pulled alongside to within about ten feet, watching it eye-to-eye in moonlight and headlights before it ran down off the elevated highway. Both occupants viewed the creature, noting its muscular build and human-like surprised expression.
Three children have daytime sighting near Eureka
As children, the witness and two companions were fishing and walked up an old logging road when they heard a noise and saw a creature across the road in the trees. The creature stayed in cover across the road and kept pace as they ran back down toward a clearing, at times getting ahead then stopping to watch them. Once they reached the clearing, it was gone.
