The witness was fishing alone from a boat when a storm approached and decided to head in. Near the lake edge the witness saw a large animal initially thought to be a bear drinking water. Continuing toward the cliffs in daylight he watched a tall skinny black figure run about seventy yards past him. She immediately called her ex-husband to report seeing again a creature similar to one seen 20 years earlier, noting a nearby field tractor and tree-line wildfire she thought it was fleeing.

While driving to work in the morning, the witness saw a dark object on the road she first thought was an ATV. As she got closer it moved off the road into the ditch, then stood up from a bent-over position, lifted a leg over a log, and disappeared into the forest. Her husband later checked the crossing spot for tracks but dense pine needles and leaf litter prevented finding any sign.

The witness was inside the house at night after turning off the television when moonlight coming through the living room window was blocked. The witness looked up and saw a dark figure standing outside looking in for about three seconds before it moved away and moonlight returned. The witness first thought it was a human intruder and only the next morning, after considering the window height and slope, wondered about a very tall unknown figure.

It first moved fast on all fours toward [name withheld] treeline, then turned, stood and walked briefly on two legs showing white and brown coloration, and disappeared into brush after looking back.
Early morning commuter swerves to miss tall hairy figure near Grain Valley
The witness was driving a back-road commute to work before dawn when a very tall, dark, hairy figure was encountered walking in the roadway beside the car. The witness slowed and moved over, then looked back to see the figure cross behind the car, clear a four-foot fence, and move quickly into a field. The figure was first mistaken for a large person in a heavy fur coat before the witness concluded it was hair-covered.

The witness took children into woods behind a relative's house and heard distinct wood knocks alternating between two positions about every few minutes for an hour. After the witness made a whoop sound, knocks continued, then a nearby dog barked aggressively and a third position across the road knocked. The witness retreated to a shed and then to the house for a shotgun, and later noted a strong musky odor at the residence.

The witness was driving home from a night job at about 1 a.m. when an upright, hair-covered figure crossed Green Lane in front of the car. The witness stopped about 15 feet away and watched it cross from east to west into a swampy area in two to three strides while looking toward the car. The figure was described as nearly nine feet tall with dark brown hair and piercing blue eyes.

The witness discovered a track way in fresh snow in the early morning after a heavy overnight snowfall, noting it had not been present the day before. The track way passed beside the home and into the woods with a consistent stride of about 52 inches and was photographed with a ruler for scale. The maker was not observed and details were obscured by additional snowfall, but the witness interpreted the tracks as made by a Sasquatch.

The relative spotted a dark figure walking upright on two legs up a steep, snow-covered hillside behind an RV sales lot toward the tree line. The witness also glimpsed the figure, noting its large size, broad shoulders, and ease of movement uphill in snow without using its arms. They did not stop to look for tracks and reported the incident to seek an explanation.

After watching for about 20-30 seconds the witness closed the curtain, later associated the figure with images of Bigfoot, and checked the door locks to feel safe.

The witness stopped at a rest area in fresh snow to let a dog out and found large tracks in three paths with a wide spread. The witness estimated the prints at 15.5 inches long with 5- to 7-foot increments and judged no known animal could have made them.
