A group camped and hiked a short trail at night to elicit responses. After a child's whoops received an immediate whoop reply nearby, two adults who stayed behind briefly heard something approach closely then step away, seeing nothing with lights. Back in camp the group saw intermittent orange eyeshine below the ridgeline, and later heard movement around camp overnight including a camper shaking.
Observation of a tall figure in a meadow while driving outside New Caney at dawn
The witness was driving to work in the early morning when he saw a very tall hairy figure standing among cows in a fenced meadow, apparently moving toward a calf. The figure appeared to notice the truck when the brake lights came on, watched the witness briefly, then calmly walked away past a farmhouse and into the woods. The witness stopped to observe but was unable to photograph it or follow on foot because the land was posted.

The witness and his father were sleeping in hammocks at a secluded lake camp. Around 2 a.m. the witness woke to a putrid smell and heavy breathing beside his hammock and saw an upright hair-covered figure with long arms and a flat face staring at his father's shelter and then at him before leaving almost silently. The next morning his father thought a bear had visited, and later that day while hiking along a riverbed they smelled the same odor in dead silence and turned back, packing up early.

The witness was camped with two children on a ridgeline near Tarryall Reservoir. On two consecutive nights the witness heard loud deep whooping calls, first from the valley below and then much closer to camp, with wood-on-wood-like banging the first night and coyotes falling silent. On the second night the witness left the tent with a rifle and light and heard something large and heavy crashing through timber with loud footsteps, then stood guard until morning and left early without telling the children.

The witness was sleeping in a tent at a lake campground with family when she awoke to repeated patterned clacking sounds from the south. Later she felt contact through the tent fabric, felt the foot of the tent lift and settle, heard movement and more clacking from two directions, and felt unable to move or speak. She awoke again later to distant clacking, and in the morning found no sign except deer tracks with the tent still staked.

The witness was driving home around midnight with a passenger when they saw a small hairy ape-like creature crouched on its hands and knees in the road on a bridge. The driver swerved to avoid it while both occupants watched it hold its ground as they passed. When they looked back, it was gone.

Witnesses in a newly purchased rural home surrounded by woods and swamp report repeated dusk and late-night activity. The claims include regular screaming and howling, a recurring skunky rotten odor, heavy running sounds felt on the porch, sightings of a large adult figure running and a large figure squatting or kneeling near outbuildings, and large tracks found with smaller prints nearby. Follow-up details add a frequently seen tall stocky female moving quietly, brush piles repeatedly dragged from an outbuilding to a driveway, and whoops that were reportedly answered and approached.

The witness and a relative were with dogs along a creek off the Little Miami River when the dogs behaved unusually. They found a single footprint in the mud along the riverbed and photographed it. The track was described as small with distinct toes and a wider than normal heel.
Possible daytime sighting on a golf course in Northern MN
Early one morning the witness was talking with a coworker at a golf course bordering woods when he noticed a tall bipedal figure moving through dense brush parallel to a paved path. The figure, described as lanky and uniformly reddish-tan, walked with a long easy stride and covered ground quickly without running. After about 20 seconds it passed behind a small bathroom building and did not reappear on the other side. The coworker, who was facing away from the woods, did not see it.

The witness was watching birds in the yard when the birds disappeared, then walked toward the woods to look for deer. The witness saw a dark figure on all fours about 40 yards away on a gully that rocked from side to side. After briefly looking away and returning with a companion, the figure was gone, and both reported hair standing up before leaving quickly.

Two companions were driving westbound near Cle Elum after an unsuccessful turkey hunt while scanning for deer and elk. They watched a very tall, lean, hair-covered figure emerge from the forest edge, approach the shoulder, look toward the passenger, and step onto the pavement behind their truck before disappearing. Both described extremely human-like movement and camouflaged brown, beige and grey hair.

The witness and a companion were sleeping at home with a bedroom window open when they were awakened around 1:30 a.m. by extremely loud howls coming from outside. They heard four howls that echoed through the area with pauses between them. They later concluded the sounds were similar to a previously reported Bigfoot vocalization and possibly made by such a creature.

In the early evening the witness went outside to call the dog in and saw six or seven deer running as if chased. Behind the deer in tall grass about 100 yards from the house, a large hairy animal was running on two legs and towering above the 4-foot grass while chasing the deer. The witness, familiar with local wildlife including bears, concluded it was not a bear.

The witness and a friend were collecting molted eagle feathers near a swamp around sunset. They heard two very loud splashes close by that sounded like large rocks being thrown into the water. They pushed through overgrown vegetation to investigate and found a fresh path flattened through tall weeds but saw nothing. As they were leaving they heard distant chattering like talking, although they believed no one else was in the woods.

The witness was driving home in the evening near Tiger Creek when headlights revealed a tall, dark, hair-covered figure standing by a road sign. At first the witness thought it was a bear on its hind legs, but it turned away and walked upright into dense woods, appearing unbothered by the vehicle. The witness returned the next day to look for footprints but loose sand and overnight rain left no clear trace.

Two companions stopped while on a fishing outing to inspect a river area. They heard large animals moving on both sides of the road and believed they had interrupted two animals crossing. One animal then charged through brush, knocked vegetation down, and a tree was heard being ripped down, followed by silence and faint hiding sounds. Neither witness obtained a visual, and they left without crossing the river to investigate.

Through the night they heard return knocks, unidentified howls and loud sigh-like sounds, and a rock landed near one of them when he stepped away from the fire. In the morning they found a line of large flat footprints that they measured and cast.
