Five companions were camping in a ravine and staging a b-b gun war when they heard loud movement approaching through the woods. They shone lights toward the sound and saw very large green glowing eyes, then fled to the highway. From a ditch they looked back and saw an enormous upright outline with arms hanging past its knees before running away.

Early one snowy morning a driver encountered a line of large human-like footprints crossing a road. Later that morning the witness and several neighbors inspected the trackway, which led from a field through yards, past rabbit hutches and a house, and on toward a field and wooded river hills. The prints in snow measured about 16 inches long with a stride of about 4 feet, and the witness made a tracing of the best-preserved print. The cause of the tracks was unknown to the witness and neighbors.

After hearing a distant screeching sound and then a loud scream, they saw a short, heavy creature about 50 yards away that charged toward them. The witness was lying in bed trying to sleep in a cabin bedroom when heavy stomping sounds passed by the window. By moonlight through a curtained window, the witness saw a tall shadowy figure with a large head and broad shoulders moving slowly past. The next morning the witness found a single very large footprint in dirt and grass on the otherwise clean porch where the figure had passed.

The witness was working with a pipeline crew exposing a remote valve site over three days. On the first day a coworker reported a dark figure walking on the cleared right-of-way up the ridge. The following morning the soiled sock the witness had discarded on the ridge was found placed on the backhoe track at the job site below.

An extremely loud scream was heard three times at short intervals, sounding closer each time and approaching very quickly. Loud crashing suggested something large moving through trees and swamp toward them. The witness fled with the child to the polebarn and reported the incident to relatives, who laughed and would not return to investigate.

The witness waited until daylight, then hunted from his stand the rest of the day, noting the woods were unusually quiet.

They then glimpsed something out of the corner of their eye moving parallel to the road through dense woods.
