While mushroom hunting with his mother the witness crossed a creek and found a single tiny human-like footprint in a wash. No other prints appeared after extended tracking, while crashing sounds moved away through woods, which he interpreted as something carrying off a young one.
Structure or nest
The guest says he and his brother found a neat pile of bones and a cave like shelter built from bulldozed driftwood at a field edge while hunting arrowheads. They walked inside a short distance. When they returned with their father the next morning the structure was gone.

After hours they heard a dog yelp, saw eyeshine and heard a bone chilling growl, then fired dozens of shots with deer slugs. Around the same period as the cattle harassment, the witness found his horse lying in the field with its bridle twisted, leg lacerations and its bottom lip stretched as if grabbed and pulled. A vet treated the legs and said the lip cartilage would return to place.

The witness and his step-cousin were picking berries when the cousin whimpered and fled. After hearing loud whistles, the witness reached into the thicket, touched hair, and saw a large creature squatted in the bush showing its side, shoulder and leg with knee near eye level. He froze, then dropped his bowl and ran home.

While the witness was about 9-10, the family's farm had repeated nighttime harassment of cattle and killings of small livestock. A young calf was found in the woods with its head twisted off and legs broken, a goose was found stuffed in a tree notch, and rabbits and guinea pigs disappeared with carcasses later found on the barn roof and in trees.

The witness, then a child, was riding in the back of a car driven by a relative late at night when headlights revealed a tall hair-covered figure crossing in front of the vehicle. The figure continued across a creek, climbed into a yard, and walked uphill out of headlight range while the occupants watched from the car. After driving into the driveway and running inside, a relative briefly went out with a rifle and light before returning.
Childhood face to face encounter at dusk in the river bottoms of Bootheel
At dusk in fall, a child was playing in a field behind the house with a dog when the dog barked fearfully at weeds around an unused barn. A very tall, dark, hair-covered figure emerged chasing the dog and came within about 6-10 feet of the witness, who noted its huge hands with long fingers. The frightened witness ran about 30 yards to the house and told family members, who did not believe the account.
Twist
About four years before the show the caller walked a mile past a gate down into tall timber toward a creek. About two hundred yards in he noticed twisted and broken trees, stopped, and felt intense unease with hair rising. Other campers later reported tree breaks in the same area.
Odor
While bow hunting in September on a skidder road toward the hills, the caller repeatedly smelled a strong odor on the wind that came and went. He looked for a dead animal but found nothing and felt hair rise on his neck.
Sasquatch sighting
The caller reports his second sighting of a big gray individual just upstream from a locally named cave on the river. He estimated it at nine to ten feet tall and about fifteen hundred pounds.
Scat
In the Wild Boy drainage the caller found an enormous scat pile he judged far larger than bear scat, reaching past his lower leg. He concluded it was Sasquatch scat and linked it to the large gray individual seen nearby.
Vocalization
While the caller sat in a ground blind and his friend sat nearby, a loud deep monkey-like or owl-like sound came from about 80 yards behind and moved 20 yards at a time. It sounded close and perfectly enunciated with no person visible. Another hunter nearby heard similar whistles moving toward him and left with his pistol.
Whistle
While sitting in a tree stand at a bait site the hunter heard a very loud clear whistle-like vocalization with enunciation. He looked up expecting a person nearby but saw no one, shouted thanks, and left thinking another hunter spoiled the site.
Movement only
At about age 10 the caller rode up to find his mother and sisters watching cows backed into a barn. Something unseen in thick maple trees at the tree line shook the trees hard. He later interpreted it as the locally known rock quarry monster.

A deputy walking up to a fire tower at night during a forest fire found a ranger hiding and then watched a tall long-armed creature across a clearing for almost a minute. It crouched, raked grass, stared, then backed into woods and circled while they left opposite way.

A seven-year-old on grandparents porch watched a huge baboon-faced biped at a neighbor trailer window interact with a small woman, who then set out caged animals. A second breasted creature crawled around the trailer, stood, took the cages, and both left.
