At dusk in fall, a child was playing in a field behind the house with a dog when the dog barked fearfully at weeds around an unused barn. A very tall, dark, hair-covered figure emerged chasing the dog and came within about 6-10 feet of the witness, who noted its huge hands with long fingers. The frightened witness ran about 30 yards to the house and told family members, who did not believe the account.
