The family dismissed the account, and the witness reports occasional similar figures, eyes and sounds in the area since.

Late at night the witness was driving north on Harstine Island and slowed for a turn when headlights and moonlight revealed a huge upright figure in a pasture about 40 feet away. The group fled to the vehicle and agreed they had heard a sasquatch. The witness returned the next day and found large human-like tracks in mud.

The witness was hunting with family members in the afternoon when the group noticed a strong odor like wet dog or horse. Shortly after, they all heard a very loud scream from nearby. After the witness's father approached the sound, it was heard again from much farther away within minutes, then a third time from a ridge as they walked back.

Around 6 a.m. in dim light the witness was inside her unfinished home when her two outside dogs barked toward the creek crossing on the driveway then ran back to the porch frightened. She looked from the window and saw a very tall, wide, dark hair-covered person-like figure with no apparent neck standing by a tree about 150 feet away. When it seemed to notice her it stepped behind the tree, and when she glanced away to call her husband it was gone. Later that day she and her husband found large footprints and broken branches at the location.

The witness then saw the top of a creature's head above a nearby embankment. The witness and her husband were driving back down a brushy spur road at dusk with their infant while scouting hunting areas. After the husband reported seeing something, they stopped by a blocked cat road where the witness saw a grayish-white haired mid-to-lower back and upper thighs glide into the brush. Her husband viewed from over the truck and claimed eye contact. They left immediately.

The witness and his son were walking back to the truck after deer hunting when they saw a tall hair-covered figure come out of a cedar thicket about 50 yards down their path. The figure stopped when they stopped, then stepped back into the thicket and disappeared from sight. They heard something following them and staying hidden all the way back to the truck.
