The witness was hunting squirrels in a wooded clearing when a tall, dark, hairy figure appeared about 15 feet away. The two reportedly stared at each other for about ten seconds before the witness cocked a shotgun and the figure quickly turned and left into dense foliage. The witness looked for tracks but found none and noted an absence of other wildlife activity.
