The witness was archery hunting and napped by a tree overlooking a creek bed and clearing. The witness awoke to thumping and breaking sounds and then watched large rocks fly from a dense patch of young pines for about one to two minutes. No animal or thrower was seen. The witness left for camp and returned the next day with a relative to inspect displaced rocks and impact marks.

They fled across a creek and out to their vehicle without ever seeing what produced the sounds or thrown objects.
Motorists observe animal crossing the road
Two occupants of a truck on Highway 131 near Brackettville saw a large hairy creature cross the road about 300 yards ahead in the morning. When they reached the spot the creature was gone, but they found a patch of long brown hair on a barbed-wire fence. The witness later heard from a relative that local ranchers had reported similar sightings in the area.
Tree break near Albany County (1994)
The witness's car sputtered to a stop on a bridge and the witness set out on foot toward home. From a dark forested slope the witness watched a tall tree thrash, then heard a massive thud, three loud knocks, and rapid footsteps sprinting uphill toward the road. An unseen presence stopped feet away breathing sharply, then repeatedly ran ahead and waited, forcing the witness to pass it several times over an eighth to a quarter mile. Near dawn where cover ended the presence vanished without ever being seen.
Sasquatch sighting (1994)
When the witness was 11, he stopped to tie his boot while hiking down a mountain trail with family and friends and saw a large black hairy biped downhill about 50 feet away. The creature moved onto the trail to block him, dropped to all fours, made a low bellowing monkey-like sound and curled its lip. The witness fled uphill along the ridge for about two and a half to three hours while the creature paced him at a distance, shook brush and tossed sticks and a small log toward him, and was seen again briefly from the chest up. As rain began the sounds grew more distant, allowing him to return to the trailhead where a search had started, and he told family he had been chased by a bear.

Around 1 a.m. the witness awoke and heard a loud moan-like sound rise up the western canyon to a scream-like crescendo, repeated minutes later, followed by a fainter similar sound from the eastern canyon. No animal was seen, and the companion awoke to hear the third sound.

Late at night the witness was driving home with a son and daughter, all awake and alert, when an ape-like animal crossed the road in front of their moving vehicle at very high speed on its knuckles and disappeared into the darkness. All three occupants reported seeing the same animal and agreed it looked like a primate unlike familiar local wildlife, later speculating it might have been a young Sasquatch.

The witness was camping overnight with a relative beside the Kern River. During the night the relative reported movement sounds outside his car. Soon after sunrise the witness heard a very loud, prolonged scream from just outside her tent. She looked out but saw nothing unusual.

The figure raised its hands to cover its face from the lights, and the occupants did not stop, first thinking it was a naked person but later concluding it was tall, hairy, and not a man or bear.

The frightened group retreated to trees, waited until about 1 a.m., then continued out armed with sticks, finding no tracks afterward.

After they called out, the footsteps paused and then rushed toward them, splitting into two individuals that ran past them through the creek while splashing and breaking limbs. The witnesses reported no visual contact due to darkness and woods and no vocalizations, then fled the area leaving their gear.

After it vanished, the witness told her husband and later checked the road but found no tracks because the ground was dry and packed.
