After returning to a friend's house, the group shined a spotlight into the thick woods. They saw green eyeshine reflecting back from ground level to about four feet up. They dismissed it at the time and ended the evening.

While fleeing down Route 93 at very high speed, the witness and his brother noticed a single blue-white light behind them. The light kept gaining on them over several hills without bobbling, noise, or illuminating the road. After they turned off onto a side road and killed the lights, the light never passed and was gone.

The witness and his brother were waiting in a clearing while two friends drove off in a Jeep. After the woods went quiet and a small rock landed between them, they moved down the trail and stopped. The witness then saw a large dark figure partly behind a tree that swayed and breathed, and they fled in the truck without looking back.
Camper reports loud "groaning grunting barking sounds" on consectutive nights while camping near South Arm
The witness camped alone for two nights in mid-July near Lower Richardson Lake. On both evenings after rain eased, the witness heard very loud deep groaning, barking and moaning sounds from a pond area below the tent. The witness stayed in the tent without investigating, heard the sounds again the second night, and left early the next day.
Two men see huge hairy animal near Poland
In August 1999 around 3 a.m., the witness and a relative were driving and turning off a highway. The relative pointed out a large hairy figure in bushes about 100 feet away in the woods. Both glimpsed it briefly in the headlights, describing it only as big and hairy.
Two witnesses see a sasquatch crossing forest road near Wilsons Mills in daylight
The witness was riding as a passenger in a truck with a companion driver and two children on a forest road in daylight. Both adults reportedly saw a tall, skinny, brown-haired biped cross the dirt road in a few long strides without reacting to the vehicle. The truck slowed near where it entered the woods, but nothing was visible and no tracks were found. Heavy rain that night prevented a follow-up search the next day.

The witness and a relative were driving to school one morning when they noticed a figure standing at the edge of the road watching their approach. The figure was described as human-sized, covered in very dark shaggy hair, hunched with arms hanging low, standing on two feet. As they drove past it disappeared into the surrounding forest and could not be seen when the witness looked back.
Sasquatch sighting in Maine (1996)
The teenage guest was riding overnight in his uncle's semi-truck in Maine. He saw a dark person-shaped silhouette come from a marsh and run toward the truck, then cross directly in front of it blocking the windshield. His uncle braked hard and sped away terrified, later saying the being looked at him with cold dark eyes and had gray-toned skin.

The witness was a passenger with a companion driving on a back road toward a club when they passed a very hairy upright animal on the roadside that appeared mid-stride and ready to cross. Both occupants noticed it and immediately confirmed to each other what they had seen. At the club, other people said similar sightings had occurred in the area under the local name Loopgaroo.

The witness was collecting firewood on a relative's land in southern Maine in the summer of 1985. After hearing an unspecified noise behind them twice, the witness turned and saw an entity standing about 30 feet away watching them. The witness then left the area quickly.

While jogging on a wooded dirt trail in the evening, the witness came around a bend and saw a huge reddish-brown shaggy animal standing in marsh water about 20 yards away. The animal was bent over with its back to him, digging into the bank with both hands and flinging mud behind it. Realizing it was not a bear or moose, the witness ran home terrified and returned once the next day before avoiding the spot.

The witness and a companion camped overnight in a tent in scrub pine after returning from a motorcycle rally. Late at night something approached the tent, producing a strong odor, audible movement, breathing and ground vibration, and a loud scream that continued intermittently before leaving. At daylight the witness found large indistinct impressions in grass and broken ferns leading toward a cliff but no clear tracks.

Sighting by a motorist
The witness was driving on Route 95 through forested wilderness in early evening daylight. A large, dark, hairy creature crossed the southbound lanes from the treed median to the woods, moving swiftly, smoothly and fully erect. The witness stopped the car and looked into the woods where it went but saw no further trace. Three companions in the car were dozing and did not see it.
Hunters find scat and have large rock thrown at them
While hunting near a lake in the fall of 1970, the witness reported a strong musky odor, unusual large and small scat, rhythmic thumping with ground vibration, and a large dead tree falling nearby while alone. The next day the witness returned with a companion, encountered the thumping and shaking again, and a large rock flew over their heads, after which they left the area.

After finding a huge footprint in snow, the witness and his friend returned armed the next day and followed branch markers placed high in trees. In a shallow ravine they heard gibberish chattering, then silence, then three trees fell and screams came from three directions while the ground shook. They fled down to a logging trail where a huge red creature screamed at the witness from about ten feet away before the pursuit stopped near an old train road and river.

As teenagers the witness and a friend set up a tent and campfire with the witness's dog. The dog hid its tail, a distant tree top visibly fell, and a deep guttural roar sounded. The dog fled and was found towns away weeks later, while the two boys abandoned all gear and returned the next day to find it untouched.

Over childhood summers spent outdoors near home, the witness repeatedly heard grunts, found wood structures he did not build, and smelled strong wet dog where no dogs had been. He asked his friend about the structures and smells and was told the friend had not been out. This ongoing activity is grouped as one period.

The witness was six and sharing a room with his brother when they heard a loud bang and grunt outside. They did not look out until later in the day. Outside they found huge bare footprints in the snow and a deep dent caved into the frozen above-ground pool, which his father dismissed.
