Camper hears screams while camping in Kennebunk, Maine

The witness and a companion camped overnight in a tent in scrub pine after returning from a motorcycle rally. Late at night something approached the tent, producing a strong odor, audible movement, breathing and ground vibration, and a loud scream that continued intermittently before leaving. At daylight the witness found large indistinct impressions in grass and broken ferns leading toward a cliff but no clear tracks.

Indistinct impressions in grass and broken ferns with no clear imprints, described as about half again as big as the witness's own foot.
Measurements: impressions about half again as big as witness's size 11 foot; cliff about 30 feet high
The witness revisited the same area alone a couple of times afterward and found no further signs.
