He turned on bright lights and walked toward it thinking it was a poacher, then smelled strong body odor and mildew and realized it was not human. He shouted at the presence and later woke to tree knocks and varied whooping sounds from multiple directions lasting about 15 minutes, and found no sign in the morning.

Two people were sitting around a campfire in their yard at night when they heard coyotes howling. The coyote howls were then joined by a much lower, deeper and louder howl. The witnesses considered a wolf as a possible source but were frightened and returned to the house without seeing anything.

Two companions on a motorcycle camping trip in the North Rim area were sleeping in separate tents when loud screams woke them about 2:30 a.m. The screams continued for several minutes from an estimated 40 yards away and were followed by the snap of a limb. Neither witness saw the source, and the reporting witness stated the sounds were unlike anything heard in a lifetime of hunting and fishing.

Around 2 a.m. the witness awoke to very loud, heavy-sounding bipedal stomping moving through camp with branches breaking, which stopped abruptly when he moved to reach for a knife. The companion separately reported hearing loud walking in camp that night, and no tracks or disturbance were found in the morning.

On Oct 6, 2012 the witness encountered an object across the river in the backyard area. The object produced a loud drawn-out scream and threw a large rock or small boulder about two-thirds of the way across the river. The witness's dog panicked and would not allow itself to be leashed for the return to the house. The witness described the object as close to 10 feet tall and big.
Runner shadowed by possible biped keeping pace through heavy forest near Wirtz
The witness was road-running in the morning when they heard something in the adjacent woods keeping pace with them. The sound slowed, sped up, or stopped with the witness, paused near houses, then resumed in wooded stretches for about a mile. No source was ever seen due to fog and cover, and the witness felt the terrain was too rough to be easily matched by a person.
Possible sighting near University of Illinois Springfield soccer fields
While driving home from school in the afternoon, the witness noticed a tall, brown, hair-covered human-shaped figure standing at the tree line beside soccer fields. The figure was still and was gone when the witness glanced away and back. An investigator later summarized the description as a massive 8-foot-tall animal with very long flowing hair seen from about 150 feet away.

After baiting a log with fruit for weeks in a floodplain labyrinth, the witness arrived on a bright moonlit night and heard a splash and clap-like sound. From his watch point he mistook a crouched shape for a stump until it turned and moved off on all fours with remarkably smooth motion. It covered ground quickly and leapt over a fallen tree with arms and legs extended before disappearing. His attempt to review body-camera footage failed due to low light, and a next-day drone search found nothing.

Determined to face his fear, the witness camped alone in a hammock at the back of the Ontario lake. After a tree fell nearby, he felt pressure on the crown of his head followed three times by intense heat-cold energy rushes and mental messages escalating to get out or die. His two-way radio then produced loud static, so he abandoned the hammock, boated back to the cabin in fear, and collapsed into sleep.

The witness went outside to his car in the evening and noticed a bad skunk-like foul odor. He then heard a whistle from one side of the property and an answering whistle from the opposite side. He did not think it was a bird and this prompted him and his brother to start spending time outside listening.

The witness and his daughter went outside behind their farmhouse after watching a television program about Bigfoot. The witness knocked on a corner post and vocalized, then both heard something run across a harvested cornfield toward them and go over a wired fence. They retreated to the house with a weak flashlight and did not see what made the sounds.
Bow hunter recovering deer has possible experience near Grove City
The witness and two companions entered the woods after dark to recover a deer shot earlier from a tree stand. While preparing to photograph the deer, the group heard an extremely loud scream from very close range, followed by the sound of something large crashing away through the woods toward a swamp. They saw nothing when they shone lights into the woods and quickly left with the deer without field-dressing it.

The witness stopped to rest while mountain biking and noticed a cluster of large barefoot-like footprints off the trail, which she photographed for scale. She reported hearing distant stomping or thumping sounds and later smelling a foul odor in the area. She did not see what made the prints and first thought the sounds were hogs or wild boar.
