Two fishermen frightened after dark on Lake Kanawauke
The witness and a companion were in a boat heading toward shore at night when they heard splashes, smelled a foul wet-animal odor, and saw shoreline vegetation shaking violently. A large rock was thrown from shore toward them and landed near the boat. When they shone a flashlight toward shore they saw a large dark human-shaped figure with red glowing eyes partly obscured by vegetation, then yelled and banged oars before retreating to a safer distance and hearing a loud scream or roar as they loaded the boat and left.
Traveler observes a tall biped in a cornfield north of Bethany Beach
While riding in the back of a minivan through farm country on Route 1 in Delaware, the witness looked out at a cornfield and noticed a dark brown shape standing among the dried stalks about 300 feet away. She watched it for 5-10 seconds as the vehicle passed, describing a wide, tall shape showing head and shoulders above the corn. No other occupants of the van reported seeing it, and she did not film it.

The witness took his family camping on the eastern shore of Cougar Reservoir. In the middle of the night something large approached on two feet from a hill, and he placed himself between it and his family while his partner moved the children to the vehicle. He fired warning shots, experienced distorted hearing and an intrusive thought, then saw a very tall wide black figure stop at the wood line about 12 feet away before he backed to the vehicle and left.
After exploring old gold mines a rock is thrown at a moving vehicle near Georgetown
The witness was driving back down a logging road in the afternoon after looking for old mines to prospect. A rock thrown from the wooded hillside struck the roof of the vehicle and left a dent. After stopping and getting out, the witness saw a large dark creature moving up the hill into the trees. The witness believed the creature had thrown the rock.
Possible nighttime sighting while driving next to Kettle Moraine State Forest
A driver on country back roads at night slowed after noticing something hiding behind a tree by the road. The figure peeked out at the vehicle and then hid again. The witness described a very tall human-like face with red eyes and was disturbed that it seemed to intentionally avoid the headlights.
Camper experiences possible aggressive night time display west of Bragg Creek
A solo camper spent the night on a plateau west of Bragg Creek during rain and thunderstorms. Through the night the camper heard log-banging, close movement, breathing, branch breaking, a tarp strike, a grunt, a boulder throw and a tree being pushed over, and glimpsed an upright figure walking downhill toward a creek. At dawn the camper heard loud bird-like calls from multiple directions, and found large grass impressions the next morning.
Two witnesses recount a close daytime encounter with a very curious creature near Lebanon
Two witnesses walking a logging road heard loud approaching sounds and then saw a tall dark upright figure watching them from behind a tree. The figure leaned out curiously and later followed them to within close range before they ran back to a relative working a nearby field. The relative later visited the spot but found no tracks or odor.
Daylight encounter while hiking on the Tulalip Indian Reservation
The witness was hiking on a logging road after riding a bike when they heard a branch snap, brush crashing, and a loud strike like wood on wood. A rock was then thrown from bushes, and the witness saw a hand and a muscular, dark brown, approximately 6-foot figure facing away with a V-shaped tuft of hair on top. The witness shouted at the figure, which remained still facing away, then left the area the way they came.
Daytime sighting by a motorist on FL-19 in the Ocala National Forest
The witness was driving on Highway 19 through the Ocala National Forest in the morning when she noticed a tall hair-covered biped in a partially cleared area beside the road. The creature was described as about seven feet tall with broad shoulders and dark hair, watching her from at or partly behind a tree. After several seconds of eye contact it stepped behind the tree out of view.
Rock throwing near Marionville, Pennsylvania (2010)
The guest was riding ATVs with a friend in the Allegheny National Forest and pulled off the trail to wait. While stopped, rocks began hitting his ATV and he looked toward the treeline. A large black hair-covered biped rose from a crouch and stared at him for about 15 seconds before stepping back into the woods, after which he fled on his ATV.
Possible roadside sighting at night by a family outside Nokesville
After picking up a relative at the airport, the witness became lost while driving at night with her two children on unmarked rural roads. While traveling slowly near a church, she and the children noticed a large brown furry figure crouched by the roadside ditch with its back to the road. They did not stop and continued home. The witness first assumed it was a bear but later questioned that after learning brown bears are not found in the state.
Sasquatch sighting near Robbinsville, North Carolina (2010)
The witness camped alone for many days to cleanse after handling a body. After hearing barking and seeing a dark shape swaying in laurel, the witness moved camp. At night three sources around the tent clacked rocks in patterns, pinning the witness in. By morning the offering of pennies and candy was gone.

On May 12 around 4pm, the witness was hiking back to base camp with two relatives when he saw a large upright hair-covered figure dart between trees on a steep slope about 30 yards away. He watched it cover 10-15 yards uphill in seconds without bobbing before it disappeared behind trees. His companions did not see the figure, and the party returned to camp without further incident before leaving the area that evening.
Early morning sighting by a motorist along Route 6 near Foster
The witness was driving east on Route 6 near the Connecticut-Rhode Island line around 2 a.m. A dark, bipedal animal crossed the road from right to left in front of the car and stepped over the guardrail in one motion. It then took a few steps down an embankment and disappeared from view. The whole encounter lasted less than 30 seconds.
Afternoon sighting by a commuter south of Show Low
The witness was driving north on US 60 in the early afternoon when he noticed a large upright animal beside the road partly obscured by a pine. He slowed for about half a minute to watch as it shifted to keep the tree between them while still peeking out and appearing to look at him. He drove on because traffic was coming from behind.
Large unknown bipedal animal seen possibly chasing deer near Dixon
The witness was at a rural wooded home on a winter afternoon and saw deer running fast through the woods about 75 to 100 yards away. Behind the deer was a much larger brown upright biped that kept pace with them for about 10 seconds. The witness felt the speed, gait and terrain ruled out a person flushing the deer.
Possible vocalizations heard while visiting McKenzie River Valley
Late at night at a yurt near a creek, the witness stepped outside and heard loud hooting/howling from across the creek. The sound was heard two more times from inside the yurt, and later the witness saw a faint outline duck behind trees on the hillside. The next morning a partial muddy footprint with hairs was found leading toward the yurt door.
Series of Bigfoot sightings at a cabin outside of Bethesda
The witness was carrying garbage out to the can when she noticed a large hair-covered creature standing behind her pickup truck watching her. She dropped the bag and ran inside to get her husband, but the creature was gone when he checked with a flashlight. The next day tracks were found leading to and from the food-scrap pile.
Adolescent child has early morning sighting near Chatsworth
The witness stood on a back step calling for a dog and looked over a tall kennel. A large hairy creature with reddish-brown hair was partly visible behind the kennel, showing part of its head and a long arm. The witness estimated it was about 7 feet tall because it stood taller than the kennel, then heard landing thumps and ran back inside.
Sasquatch sighting near Lander, Wyoming (2010)
While staying about a week to help move his elderly grandmother, the 11-year-old guest rode a mountain bike daily on wide trails toward the national forest and often felt watched. One day the woods went quiet and he heard childlike playing shift to indistinct murmuring, then heavy bipedal footsteps approaching through brush. A roughly nine-foot, black-haired, barrel-chested male stepped onto the trail about 30 yards away, made rapid mouth-popping clicks answered from the brush, then growled and changed expression when the witness turned his bike. A second taller individual stood up in the brush showing chest and head, the witness rode about two and a half miles home, and family members dismissed the report as a bear.
