A second, smaller black figure then moved through the same area, shaking vegetation as it ran. From about 40 to 50 feet away in pines the witness saw a tall upright figure that looked toward the porch. The animal then fled on two legs in a stooped posture toward the road while the husband fired a pistol into the ground.
