The witness, a child attending a summer camp, became separated from companions during a camp-wide game in the woods. After tripping over a log, the witness saw a very tall, upright figure covered in dark brown matted fur standing by a tree. The figure glanced briefly then walked away while the witness screamed, then the witness ran back to the group. A slight funky odor was also noticed.

The witness was tracking elk sign alone in the late afternoon when he smelled a foul odor, felt watched, then saw several large bipedal animals scatter through thick brush and fled back to camp. Around 2 a.m. the whole camping party was awakened by very loud, prolonged yowl-like screams preceded by banging sounds. The party left the area after daybreak.

A group walking back from an old cemetery at night shone lights on a tower and saw a hairy creature standing on top. The creature raised its arms, jumped from the tower and ran into brush with sounds of trees breaking. After a brief silence a loud high-pitched scream was heard and a distinct odor lingered.

The witness and a companion walked near a gravesite picnic area at dusk and approached the outdoor toilets. The witness encountered a tall hair-covered figure beside the toilets that followed closely while bent on its front limbs with its rear raised. The witness fled to the car, after which the figure stood upright, vocalized loudly, and chased the vehicle a short distance before they drove away.

In the afternoon after swimming, the witness ran ahead of the group on a winding trail back toward the campsite. Stopped by a strong foul odor, the witness noticed a large dark furry creature sitting among berry bushes a short distance away. The creature stayed motionless and made a quiet chattering sound, after which the witness ran away while hearing it crash away through the trees. No one else in the group saw or heard the creature.

While descending a mountain trail alone after climbing with companions, the rider stopped for unknown reasons and heard loud growling nearby that the mind reinterpreted as water. The rider felt suddenly hot and euphoric and began removing clothing despite cold wet weather until companions arriving and splashing through water broke the state. Later on the same ride the group found very large fresh human-like footprints without claws in untouched mud.
