On a Friday night during an archery-hunt camping trip, the witness and a relative sat by the campfire while two unseen presences circled the camp, breaking branches, pacing, and making heavy footsteps. Small rocks and sticks were then thrown into camp, including a softball-sized rock that landed nearby, followed by impacts on a food box and the trailer. Others sheltering in the trailer also heard footsteps, breaking branches, impacts, and a heavy sigh, and later a branch-like object was dragged across the trailer roof.

On a summer night in 2008 the witness was night-fishing by a dam near family cabins when he heard rhythmic splashes crossing the shallow river about 100 feet away and felt intense fear, abandoning his gear to hide in a nearby cabin. Around the same night a relative sitting on a cabin deck smelled a strong death-like odor, heard movement on the stairs and under the cabin, and felt the cabin rock hard enough to knock a VCR and tape rack over. The two compared accounts the next morning on the drive home and concluded the cause was a bigfoot, keeping it to themselves.

Two companions were quietly floating in a canoe on a dark creek at night when they startled something standing at the creek edge. They heard heavy bipedal footsteps exiting the water, displacing water and making waves, then moving onto the bank. A large rock then splashed into the creek very close to the canoe, after which the subject walked uphill into the woods. The witnesses stayed silent out of fear and never saw the subject because of darkness.

The witness camped alone for several nights using a thermal imager. On the fourth night an object was thrown near the tent, then a heat signature was seen peeking over brush along a trail. While the companions scanned with night vision and a camcorder, the investigator illuminated a sasquatch-like figure standing close below the rocks with a headlamp and watched it withdraw and walk away. The companions recorded eyeshine in the opposite direction, suggesting a second animal, and the group heard footsteps following them as they descended. They later reviewed the tape and confirmed eyeshine had been recorded.

The witness doubted bear, moose, or human explanations based on stride, sound, and lack of reaction to light and noise.

The creature repeatedly moved quickly closer when she looked away and froze when she looked back, approaching from about 200 feet to near the house. After resting on a bridge over a bayou, the guest felt watched and then sensed something following and flanking them to the right. The witness was walking the dog in the front yard late at night in snow and moonlight when dogs went quiet and a musky odor appeared. The witness heard heavy two-legged steps and watched a tall hairy figure with a conical head cross a field with long strides and step over a barbed-wire fence. After whistling, the witness raised a hand and the figure appeared to raise its hand in return before leaving.
Scream in Ohio (2008)
The witness and three companions turned five dogs loose at night when powerful screams were directed first at the men then at the dogs. Something bipedal with heavy footsteps ran fast left to right toward the dogs, silencing them. The dogs were found wedged in a road culvert and had to be pulled out. A daylight return found a single-file running trackway down the hill.

The witness and her husband were asleep at their vacation cabin when they were awakened around 3:30 a.m. by loud screams that seemed to move across the property from the river toward the mountains. The screams occurred four or five times, prompting the husband to get his gun, and the couple saw nothing when they looked outside. They stated they had never heard such a sound before or since.
