The witness and a companion were walking on a path in a military training area when they noticed a large shelter-like formation made of entangled large trees. They felt the structure could not have been made by a person. While looking around they found several large tracks and vomit within about 50 yards, after which they left the area.

They heard a short low-to-high 'wwooot' sound from the woods behind them, then about fifteen seconds later heard the same sound longer and much louder.
