The witness climbed up to look across a cut corn field and saw a tall slender brown shaggy figure walking along a ditch, which stepped into a ditch bank after being shouted at. They ran back to the companion's house, and the witness returned the next day to find large human-like footprints in lime dust.

Two people walking with a dog heard something moving through the woods away from them and followed the sound to a creek. On a sandbar in the middle of the creek they found a single large, fresh human-like barefoot print and saw no other prints on the higher far bank. They inferred a very long stride and returned up the road without seeing the source.

They heard something large moving in the woods behind them and then saw a tall hair-covered being partly obscured behind a tree a short distance away. The witness and his friend camped and fished over a weekend at a remote creek below a ridge road. They experienced pebbles and rocks thrown, pacing, huffing, wood knocks, a disturbed fire pit and scattered poles. A large creature then came down the ridge into the creek, growled at them from about 20 yards, and left. A DNR officer later found prints, cast them, and called them bear tracks.

They were followed for hours by something screaming, breathing heavily, breaking branches and circling on two legs, forcing them to shelter in a road grader. After it left they found large human-like tracks with toes crossing a creek and in the woods, then abandoned the climb and skied out.

While scouting with his wife in the afternoon, a reddish-brown creature about 7 to 8 feet tall stepped out about 20 yards away, watched them for about 10 seconds, and was gone when they looked again. That night after snowfall the witness heard something moving around the tent, and the next morning huge tracks were found circling the tent.
