The witness reported encountering a large silver-colored creature while hunting, standing less than 20 yards away and estimated at 9 to 10 feet tall. The creature disappeared very quickly when the witness walked toward the trail it had been on. The witness noted huge impressions where it had walked, but no clear prints.

The witness was backpacking with a relative and a group at an alpine lake and went to explore the shore alone in the evening. She found many barefoot prints of different sizes that were unusually deep in mud and showed what she interpreted as a mid-tarsal break. She tested the mud firmness against her own weight, followed the prints from the water into gravel and rocks, and concluded they were not human.

Two witnesses were on the back deck of a vacation cabin at night with a small leashed dog when they heard a loud grunting/growling sound from bushes about 60 feet away. The dog was alert and barking at the bushes. Frightened, both people went back inside the house.

The witness was night fishing from a dock when an otter nearby suddenly fled. The witness then saw a large grey shape move quickly and silently between cover, followed by a large splash near the dock. Frightened, the witness left immediately and found large four-toed footprints on a return visit the next day.

At a remote camp in late July 2013, several children were playing outside and knocking on trees. The daughter ran inside saying she had seen a tall brown biped that walked, looked at her, then dropped to all fours and ran off. A parent did not see the creature but said the daughter was adamant and visibly shaken.

The guest watched a large upright figure sway between trees through night vision, saw it reappear squatting, then lose it as it moved over a ridge. The next morning the team found trampled vegetation where the figure had stood and noted they had audio of the event.

Late at night three companions pulled over by an overgrown archery field to look for deer and noticed green eyeshine wide apart just above tall grass. The source of the eyes stood upright to a great height, looked toward them, then walked into the adjoining woods. After leaving, they returned for a size comparison with a 6-foot companion walking toward the treeline while the others watched from the truck; the figure reappeared, stood up and towered over the companion before leaving into the woods again.

The witness reported ongoing activity near a forested home beginning in early spring 2013. During an initial walk in pines, he heard an extremely loud knock that frightened him and later heard whistles from the woods. He also reported finding multiple large and small track sets. An investigator filed the account on his behalf and continued working with him.

The witness was walking a puppy along a bikeway when the dog began barking. Ahead, the witness saw a very large dark hairy biped walking along the path shoulder for several seconds before it crossed the path and descended into a wooded gully. The witness left and returned about an hour later with another dog and found and photographed a large footprint where the creature had walked.
Homeowner finds possible footprints near Beach Park
The witness was in the process of buying a vacant house and found a line of large barefoot-like impressions in snow and mud along the side of the garage toward the backyard. The prints showed toes, deep toe depression and a short stride close to the building, and were photographed with the witness's shoe for scale. The witness reported seeing only incoming tracks and requested review of the photos, noting doubt about a hoax due to the secluded location.

The trackway was reported to run about a half mile from across a lake, ashore around a cabin and through woods to a road where it disappeared. The witness drove into a bottom field at night to look for raccoons and swept the treeline with truck headlights. At about 75 yards he saw a large dark figure walk through the field toward the creek, pause to stare at him, then stride quickly into the woods. While deer hunting in late afternoon the witness heard yipping followed by whooping, yelling and loud approaching bipedal footsteps. A large dark hair-covered biped emerged from a draw about seventy yards away, walked past at an angle, then turned upslope into brush and out of view. The figure was reportedly visible for about two minutes with travel sounds heard briefly afterward, and the site was revisited the next morning for a height comparison.

Two people driving home separately at night each reported seeing a large shadowy figure by the highway slip into the woods about a half-mile from home. They compared notes after arriving home and realized both had seen the same thing, but could provide no details beyond its large size and shadowy appearance. The sighting occurred two days after a bizarre shrieking noise had been heard in the yard.

Over several nights in December the witness and their partner sat on their home lanai at night and heard a loud cry or scream, rock-clacking sounds, and stones or pebbles striking the house and lanai, and noticed a strange unknown odor for two days. No creature was seen. An investigator later visited the property, found a displaced rock, a single possible footprint, and nearby scat, and noted the property backs onto a power-line corridor.

While deer hunting, the witness walked through a field and found odd tracks in deep snow. He knelt for a closer look and noted they had human-like toes. He photographed the tracks, which headed north across his property and were estimated to be at least thirteen inches long.

A tree-trimming crew reported finding a line of large human-like footprints in snow where their truck got stuck on an icy back road. The prints reportedly came out of the woods onto the road and continued about 160 feet with a long even stride. The witnesses photographed the prints, which had been plowed away by the time an investigator later visited the site.

Two men scouting for coyote hunting crossed a field and found several dozen large tracks in snow with a very long stride. They photographed the tracks with a boot alongside for scale and noted toe outlines. They became frightened and left the area shortly afterward.
