On a sandy bar beside a pool they found very large, deep tracks crossing in a straight line with a long stride. The tracks appeared to come from the campsite area and angle off toward the creek into trees, with a stride a tall adult could not match. The witness was staying overnight at the family property and went outside about 2 a.m. to quiet barking kennel dogs. On the way out and again on the way back, the witness noticed a large silver-colored being sitting calmly on a woodpile and watching. The witness went inside, locked the door, awoke shaking three hours later, and later called a friend and drew what was seen.

As a child, the witness watched from a second-floor farmhouse window as a tall, hairy biped crossed the front yard uphill, repeatedly glancing back and briefly meeting his gaze before disappearing around the house. Frightened, he ran to his parents, and a relative and a companion went outside and found oversized footprints that they followed by car across a plowed field until the tracks led uphill toward the forest and disappeared.

Late at night in 1967 the witness and a friend were watching TV when barking dogs drew them to look outside. They saw a large human-like figure running while being chased by dogs and emitting a loud screaming sound. The next day the witness found very large bare-foot tracks in mud near home and learned relatives on the next street had also heard the screaming.

As a 12-year-old walking home from the school bus with five other children, the witness noticed movement from a deep ditch beside a gravel road. A hair-covered figure rose from the ditch, crossed the road on two feet, vaulted a pony fence with one hand, and sprinted across an open field much faster than ponies. The figure was estimated at about six feet tall and its face was not seen.
