Late at night the witness and a relative went outside to check a heavy thud behind the house. They saw a deer run past, then a very tall hair-covered human-like figure approach from the woods. A strong odor was noticed and large footprints were found the next day.

Late one evening in April 2011 the witness returned home from dinner next door and walked toward the unfinished garage addition. He saw a very tall dark figure standing behind his SUV at the garage entrance for a few seconds before running back inside for a gun. He and a relative searched the yard and found no one, but noticed several very large wet footprints on the concrete with a wide stride.

After a major blizzard, the witness and her husband noticed a long line of large footprints crossing their snow-covered backyard. The trackway appeared to start near the patio by the garage, pass toward an outhouse, and continue toward a fence and adjoining trail and woods. No creature was seen, and no photos of the tracks were taken before the snow melted.

An investigator later had the audio compared to suspected vocalizations and visited the surrounding woods.

The witness and a companion were hiking out after a multi-day camping trip when they found a large barefoot-like print in mud, with additional fainter tracks continuing along the trail, and took a single cellphone photo. The witness could not cross the creek to investigate and later left, having earlier photographed a 20-foot tree found jammed upside-down in the ground.

The witness parked to check two close trail cameras and felt strong pressure and dread. After hearing twig snaps and a huffing exhale, the witness looked up to see a tall black bushy figure about 20 yards away by a tree. It ducked to a squat and shuffled quickly as the witness armed the camera and ran to the road, then drove home shaken.

After hearing something large run off unseen, they found a single fresh human-like barefoot print in mud beside a puddle. They photographed the print and marked the spot, and also noted distant squirrel alarm calls that moved closer then fell silent.

The witness and a companion were sleeping in their vehicle at a forest campsite. During the night they heard something rubbing against the vehicle, knocking items over, and rummaging around camp, including toppling chairs and a canopy. The companion, while lying down, reported seeing a tall black shape pass the window and leave away from roads. In the morning the chairs were overturned and the canopy was found upside down about 20 feet away, with otherwise little disturbance and no clear prints.

The witness was driving past a hunting area in the dark with bright headlights on. A large black hairy biped ran across the road from one woodline to the other in three leaps with a bent-kneed stride. It turned its head toward the vehicle but facial details could not be made out except deep-set eyes.
