Possible trackway found and photographed 50 miles NE of Pittsburgh
Shortly after dawn the witness noticed a strange human-like trackway in the snow near the house while watching the dog. After daylight he inspected the prints and found dozens in a straight line between houses with a long step and no shoe tread. He photographed the tracks with his phone. The trackway appeared to have been made overnight and led from a neighboring field to the road.

After moving to western Pennsylvania, the witness took his dog for a hike on Quarry Trail in Linn Run State Park. Something paced him in thick hillside brush, stopping when he stopped, followed by two tree knocks and a loud deep scream from further up. On the return the dog acted alarmed, watching the brush behind him until they reached a rock outcropping and left. A researcher later visited the same area and photographed a bare human-like footprint and overturned rocks.

The teller's uncle walking his dog found a line of large human-like footprints in light snow dust on an old rail-trail through a large gun-club property. The teller came and measured 14 to 15 inch tracks in single-file heel-to-toe with a very long stride for 20 to 25 prints. The trackway doubled back and left into a cornfield where snow ended.

The witness discovered a track way in fresh snow in the early morning after a heavy overnight snowfall, noting it had not been present the day before. The track way passed beside the home and into the woods with a consistent stride of about 52 inches and was photographed with a ruler for scale. On the night of Jan. 13, 2014, the witness spotlighted a distant field from home and saw red eye shine that reacted to the light. After retrieving a relative, the two drove to a pond with tall reeds about 300 yards away and again picked up eye shine high in the reeds. They watched the eyes blink and move low through a creek embankment from left to right, but could see no body because of distance. The witness recorded about a minute of phone video and estimated eye height the next day at 7.5 to 8 feet based on reed height.

The witness was sitting outside at night talking on the phone when she heard movement in nearby woods and then noticed a strange odor. She looked up and saw a very large, hair-covered figure standing in a field about 30 feet away. Frightened, she ran inside and locked the doors, and a family member found nothing that night with a flashlight. The next morning she and a relative found flattened grass, clearings, and tracks leading into the woods but were too frightened to follow them.

After an overnight snowfall, the witness noticed large tracks in the snow beside the house from a window, then later found they continued across the front yard into the woods. The trackway was described as bipedal with a long stride of about five feet and no sign of pausing. The witness was playing with relatives on dirt hills behind the house when feeling watched and seeing a tall hair-covered biped. The figure slowly turned and walked away swinging its arms and was gone within seconds before others could look. The next day the witness found twisted small trees and large footprints at the spot.

The witness noticed a large dark hairy figure crawling low across the field dragging its rear legs and using its long arms. The witness and his friend camped and fished over a weekend at a remote creek below a ridge road. They experienced pebbles and rocks thrown, pacing, huffing, wood knocks, a disturbed fire pit and scattered poles. A large creature then came down the ridge into the creek, growled at them from about 20 yards, and left. A DNR officer later found prints, cast them, and called them bear tracks.

When they stood to look, they saw a tall grey-haired animal about 20-30 yards away staring at them. About 400 feet ahead, a large reddish-brown hairy biped with very long arms was walking toward them on the road. The pony reared, turned, and bolted back downhill to a nearby yard. Later the witness returned with a relative, who found broken branches where the creature appeared to have left the road for the woods.

Before school the witness and his mother saw a large brown biped moving along a powerline toward woods behind their home. The witness ran toward the treeline and watched the creature pause and turn its upper body to look at him from about 50 yards, then stride away down a creekbed and disappear. Later that day he and his father found large heel impressions where it had leapt off a bank.

One evening around dusk the witness sat locked out on the front porch of the parents' wooded house. A very large hair-covered biped approached to about 40-50 yards, paused and stared with glowing red eyes for about half a minute, then ran away rapidly breaking branches. The next morning large footprints were found in wet driveway dirt but were washed away by rain before they could be photographed.
