Several sets of tracks found near Skookum Meadows
The witness spent the early morning driving back roads around Skookum Meadows to revisit prior sites and scout for future investigation. While traveling, the witness found a buttock-like skid mark with possible handprints and three large bare-foot-like impressions, plus additional large human-shaped tracks near a broken natural bee hive and behind roadside fir trees. The witness photographed the findings and made a cast of one track.
Parents pursue 7 1/2' tall female biped across pasture after being alerted by daughter
The witness was taking a dog outside at night and felt watched after the dog stared and growled. After shining a flashlight in that direction, the witness saw two hairy bipedal figures cross a fence and then ran inside. Relatives then went outside, reportedly saw the larger figure up close, noticed odor and sounds, and the group found large tracks the next day.
Forest Service employees see big footprints near Lake Isabella
Two workers covering illegal OHV trails found unusually large human-like footprints near a meadow during lunch and photographed one. The prints were measured and noted to follow a fence line. Later the same day at another meadow area they found the same type of prints crossing a trail toward rock outcroppings, after which they left the area.
Man hunting deer finds unusual feces and hears animal
While hunting deer alone in the morning, the witness heard repeated sounds like logs or poles being thrown, then found a tree with bark removed, a large packed bed, a human-like track, and unfamiliar scat. After glimpsing brown fur duck behind a log, the witness heard an extremely loud low roar-like yell from behind with crashing, then heard crashing and throwing sounds staying out of sight while leaving for about 200 yards. No full animal was clearly seen.
Vocalizations heard by couple at dawn near Randle
The witnesses were awakened at home by very loud calls heard about a dozen times. The witness went outside and imitated the calls, and the source answered several times while apparently approaching to the edge of the yard. The witness could not see the source through the trees and went back inside feeling uncomfortable. Their three dogs remained tense and silent throughout the vocalizations.
Possible ongoing activty in a rural community near Chance
The witness claims to have seen a single dark biped twice, in 1992 and 2002, at the same bridge on a highway in the Chance, Alabama area. The creature was described as about nine feet tall with very wide shoulders and crossed the road in about three strides. The sightings are said to have occurred at dusk on clear nights.
Elk hunter trailed by large biped in twilight, finds tracks the next day
The witness was returning on foot to camp at night after sitting and hunting in a mountain park. He heard steps, snapping and rustling following him for some distance to an open moonlit bald. After waiting there and then entering timber on the far side, he looked back and saw a large dark shape where he had sat stand up and come toward him; after he shouted it ran into the trees.
Witness sees unknown animal cross dirt road near New Mexico State Route 264
Late at night while driving on a dirt service road for utility work, the witness saw a tall, thin brown-haired creature step into the headlights and cross the road at an angle. The witness watched for about 15 seconds as it took a few long strides between juniper trees before disappearing. After driving away in fear, the witness returned the next day with a co-worker and found widely spaced footprints leading east.
Family has strange experience in Golden Trout Wilderness
A family staying at a remote pack station heard a high-pitched whooping call for many minutes that seemed to approach and then pass toward a wilderness trail. The daughter went to the access road to meet the caller and saw a large, hair-covered, unclothed being with a long beard, long arms and a big mouth walking quickly past. She said it did not see her and was not vocalizing when seen. The next morning the family found a few possible wide-toed prints in the dust at the spot she indicated.

The witness was riding an ATV with her husband on a forest road and stopped alone to wait for him. She reported a very strong foul odor, a feeling of being watched, and hearing a branch break. When she started to leave she noticed very large footprints over their fresh outgoing tracks. Her husband saw the prints but attributed their size to dust and reported only a faint dead smell.
Morning sighting by three fishermen near the east end of Riffe Lake
The witness was fishing from a boat with two young companions on Riffe Lake late in the morning when they spotted a large hairy biped about 150 yards away in a clearcut. They watched for several minutes as it walked away, paused to face and stare at them, then continued walking while looking back before disappearing into timber. The witness stated the subject was not human and was not a bear.
Family finds and hears compelling evidence near Leadville
A family hiking around a high-elevation lake above treeline near Leadville found footprint-like depressions in moss between glacial rocks and found additional depressions on further search. They also noted moss torn from boulders, chewed, and left in neat piles, and heard grouped rapping sounds on each of three visits over three days. They recorded the tracks and moss on video and made a cast of one track. No animal was seen.
Man and wife have separate strange encounters in same area
In the early morning the witness was at a rental mobile home property with his wife to check on tenants and let dogs out. The dogs refused to leave the porch while reacting to movement in an adjacent tobacco field. The witness saw a large hunched furred figure with a rounded back in the field and a smaller figure moving away, and heard exchanging chuffing vocalizations and a distressed mewling sound from the field and from across the road near a creek. The figures moved toward tall grass and the tree line, a tree across the road shook as if climbed, a musty odor was noticed, and mashed grass trails were found the next morning.
Rural commuter sees large animal shift from quadrupedal to bipedal movement
In early fall 2002 the witness was driving to work on a highway in the morning and saw a large dark-brown hairy animal crossing the road on a hill crest. The animal first moved on all fours, then rose onto its hind limbs, ran with long steps and leapt over an embankment and fence into the woods. The sighting lasted only a few seconds, and a later visit to the site revealed many game footprints.
Hunters have strange experiences and make an unusual discovery
Two companions were hunting deer on a family property near Pine Mountain when they found a footprint and other tracks near a pine overhang, noticed a localized strong skunk-like odor, and saw a pile of fresh acorns with no oak nearby. As they moved uphill using alternating advances, each heard an unrecognized whistle and the sound of a large boulder rolling, with neither attributing the sounds to the other. Both reported a feeling of being followed uphill.

Two witnesses driving back from fishing in a national forest rounded a corner and saw a tall black upright figure crossing the road in front of them. It walked quickly uphill and disappeared within a few seconds. They stopped at the spot and found a large footprint, which they later videotaped and cast, and investigators later found additional impressions uphill.

The witness was walking in woods behind the house in late afternoon when rustling was heard ahead. A very tall dark hairy biped stepped into a small clearing about 20 yards away, looked at the witness, then turned and left into the tree line. A strong foul odor was noticed, and days later a single large five-toed footprint impression was found along the route.

During a daytime rock-hunting outing, the witness and her younger sister walked down a trail past a creek. Something charged toward them from a wooded hill, crashing through vegetation while emitting a terrifying howl/growl, and the witness glimpsed a black figure. Both girls fled back to their group in tears and left the area immediately.
Tree top snaps off while man casts suspected sasquatch track near by
The witness found a large human-like footprint on a muddy curve and returned with a camera and casting supplies to document it. While making the cast, nearby bushes rustled violently and the top of a small tree snapped off and fell near the road, followed by several whinny-like vocalizations from the woods. Days later the witness believed an outline of a figure appeared in one photo and reported being followed on later visits to check for more prints.
Early evening sighting in meadow near Narbona Pass in the Chuska Mountains
The witness was riding as a passenger in a truck in the evening when they noticed a large hair-covered biped about 60 yards from the highway. The animal walked on two legs with long strides and swinging arms while its face was turned toward the witness. The driver did not stop, and the group returned the next morning to videotape the area and cast a track.
