The daughter took a phone photo as it disappeared that was described as showing head and shoulders, and later took a comparison photo of the empty ridge.

The group went to the spot, found flattened brush and a bent-grass trail, estimated the figure's height against the tree, took photos, and then heard knocking beats and hooting sounds after birds flushed and dogs barked in the distance.

After a night of paranormal investigation at a remote old cemetery, the witness group walked toward a rock outcropping in the morning. They encountered two large dark-brown upright figures staring at them for about two minutes. When the group tried to approach, the figures walked away into the woods, with the smaller one lifting an infant-sized individual from tall grass onto its shoulder.

The witness reported walking back along a trail after making calls with no response when he found a very large footprint and a scat pile containing vegetation and shell fragments. The creature then ran rapidly down one ridge and up another at a speed the witness felt could not be matched, and disappeared. The witness then collected his things and left for his car.

A group of ten vacationers at a scenic overlook noticed a large dark figure about 200 yards below them. The figure was initially crouched and appeared to dig or pull at something, then stood, walked to a tree, observed the group, and eventually moved deeper into the forest out of view over about five minutes. Photos were taken by the group, while two unrelated visitors who also photographed it left quickly appearing scared.

The witness drove to the crossing point and saw yellow eye reflection looking back from the woods before it disappeared and the witness left. Reported activity includes footprints, wood knocks, odors, vocalizations, trail and structure formation, and direct sightings with food exchange and close interactions. An investigator visited the densely brushed property, observed extensive trails and shelter-like spots, and interviewed the household about four to five individuals of different sizes.

Returning about ten days later, the house was gone and replaced by a gravel lot, and a neighbor said it had been torn down four years earlier.

The witness was hunting grouse along a cedar swamp when a strong foul smell led to noticing a hairy animal lying about 30 yards away. The witness struck a tree with a fallen limb, after which the animal stood upright and ran away upright through the woods with loud crashing. The witness then examined a cleared, scraped bedding area by a fallen tree and took unclear phone photos.

As he drove closer the figure walked upright off the road into brush beside a stump, where he took a cell phone photo. He estimated the figure at about seven to eight feet tall, very dark with several-inch-long hair, and said it did not resemble local wildlife he knows well.
