On the second evening the witness walked a sandy horse trail about a half mile from an earlier brush trail. He reported hearing an unfamiliar screech/growl, answering wood knocks, loud stomping nearby, and a rock thrown past him, followed by crashing in the brush. He then found a very large bare footprint that he photographed with his shoe for scale before leaving quickly without ever seeing the source.

A group walking back to a cottage late at night on a dirt road through dense woods heard something large paralleling them. They stopped and watched a very tall, light-colored illuminated figure moving in a small circle near a mailbox, heard a short powerful grunt, and then saw reddish eyes watching from the woods. The eyes retreated deeper, dropped low and disappeared while the group returned to the cottage.

The witness was driving home at night on a dirt backroad when something struck the truck, leaving scratches and a dent on the passenger door. After calling for help, the witness with two relatives found footprints along the road and photographed them. While photographing they saw green eye-shine above the brush and a large upright shadowy outline, then heard wood knocks, growling and heavy footsteps before the eyes disappeared.

Something in the trees paced him from the side, stopping when he stopped and continuing when he walked. When he tried to look larger and shouted, he heard deep grunts and saw two small trees shake vigorously. He called a nearby friend for a ride and kept shouting until he was picked up.

At about 2 a.m. during a break in a storm, the witness heard something at the backyard wire fence and went outside armed with a relative. They heard footsteps and loud cracks first mistaken for gunfire and fired weapons toward the sound. The cracking was then recognized as wood splitting as a huge tree was pushed over, crashing down and shaking the house, after which the family heard loud footfalls running away.

The witness claims a family group has visited a rural wooded property regularly for nearly two years, typically evenings to early mornings several times a week. Reported activity includes footprints, wood knocks, odors, vocalizations, trail and structure formation, and direct sightings with food exchange and close interactions. An investigator visited the densely brushed property, observed extensive trails and shelter-like spots, and interviewed the household about four to five individuals of different sizes.

The witness was deer hunting from a stand overlooking a clear-cut valley in the morning. The witness heard loud crashing and branch-breaking as a large unseen animal ran down the opposite slope, chased a deer, and killed it after the deer cried out three times. The witness could not cross the creek to investigate and later left, having earlier photographed a 20-foot tree found jammed upside-down in the ground.

After hearing something large run off unseen, they found a single fresh human-like barefoot print in mud beside a puddle. About an hour later on the return leg they found six fresh, very deep human-like barefoot prints with deer tracks in hard mud where they had seen nothing earlier. Two volunteers were feeding birds at a raptor center late at night when they heard something large moving in the woods beyond the cages. They followed sounds of heavy footsteps and snapping twigs along a walkway for about 30 minutes as it moved toward a reservoir inlet. Both reported seeing large red eyes during the pursuit but did not describe seeing a body.

When the witness opened a distant door and turned on a light, the figure was gone but quick footsteps were heard leaving down a gravel road. After sunrise they found large footprint-like impressions in the gravel near the trailer.

A responding officer documented a ripped chicken coop, dents on the barn, a partial handprint, and heard shuffling in the tree line. The witness and her father were walking back to the trailhead parking area at night when the father noticed eyeshine in the trees to the side of the trail about 30-40 feet away. With headlamps on, they both observed shining eyes and the outline of a rounded head that turned to look at them before they turned their lights off. The figure then walked away downhill with heavy deliberate bipedal steps, paused, and remained nearby while the witness spoke softly before they left quietly. After returning home they photographed smudge marks on their vehicle that had not been noticed earlier.

The witness camped alone for several nights using a thermal imager. On the fourth night an object was thrown near the tent, then a heat signature was seen peeking over brush along a trail. The figure stood and ran away bipedally while brush thrashed on both sides, and the witness left the thermal recording overnight.
