After giving vocal calls from a fishing dock after sundown, the witness got responses, then silence, then rocks splashing near the dock. He went to the parking lot with a machete and faced eyeshine about 70 feet away. He and the creature mimicked each other's movements and exchanged grunts for 20 to 30 minutes until a fishing bell rang and it walked away whistling softly.

The witness was lying awake in a tent at a restricted lakeside camp around midnight when she heard slow, rhythmic footsteps circling the campsite for about 45 minutes. She never opened the tent to look and concluded from the stride and sounds that it was not human.

When the dog went quiet the witness entered the woods, beat on an oak and shouted for the dog, then heard knocks, chest-beating, howls, a bluff charge and a tree pushed over while seeing eyeshine. After the witness told the entity to back away, the dog returned and they went home.

They shone a spotlight and saw a large hairy figure crouched at the shoreline, then heard a second crashing nearby. The first figure entered the creek and stood in deep water up to its rib cage while they watched, after which both people fled without looking back.

The witness and a companion were driving at night when headlights illuminated a large hairy figure crossing the road in front of the truck. The figure moved quickly down a steep bank, across the road, and into dense vegetation, disappearing before the witness could exit the vehicle, though crashing sounds were heard afterward. The dog in the vehicle reacted by whimpering and fixating on the woods.

While riding an ATV on the family's timbered farm in daylight, a relative came around a corner and saw a tall dark hairy figure pulling leaves from a tree and eating them. The relative took a cell phone photo, then turned the vehicle around and left quickly with a companion. Minutes later the group heard four loud howls from the general area and left immediately.

A couple watching movies in a barn heard prolonged loud splashing along a nearby lake shore that stopped when a flashlight was shone toward it and then resumed in a different spot. They felt uneasy and left for the night. The next morning the wife found a very large human-like footprint with partial prints on the shore and kept a broken cast of it.

The witness reported walking back along a trail after making calls with no response when he found a very large footprint and a scat pile containing vegetation and shell fragments. Moments later he saw a very tall, heavily built, dark brownish creature about 70-80 feet away that had been digging at a ground hornet nest. The creature then ran rapidly down one ridge and up another at a speed the witness felt could not be matched, and disappeared. The witness then collected his things and left for his car.

They heard cackling, yelping, growling and moaning sounds and found the trail blocked by a large uprooted stump with placed boulders and smashed trees. Two upright figures, one black and one light brown and hairy, were seen moving parallel to the group and leaping down a cliff, while the group felt stalked and watched as they hurried out to the road.
