On a Monday afternoon day off, the witness hiked alone to a remote glacial pond and bog. From the pond overlook around 1pm she noticed a figure wading at the far edge and took two photos, after which the figure turned to look at her. Feeling frightened she left, later checked the shoreline from another path and found no one, and on reviewing the images thought the figure looked inhuman.

On a quiet morning drive, the witness stopped and watched a thin dark-brown quadruped standing in the dirt road about 300 feet ahead. It lacked a visible snout or ears, looked at the witness, then drank or sniffed at a puddle and walked into the woods. The witness later photographed a partial 15-inch print in the puddle.
Bigfoot snow tracks found by deer hunters 24 miles east of Buffalo
The witness and a relative were deer hunting in the morning when they found large human-shaped bipedal tracks in snow. The tracks had a stride of at least six feet and paralleled deer tracks. They followed the trackway for well over a mile to a posted property line. The witness noted fresh snow had fallen into the tracks and said photos were taken.

Late at night while driving to help a friend, the witness saw what first looked like logs on the roadside. On closer approach it appeared as a dark hair-covered figure seen from behind, which stepped easily over a roadside railing and went down into the woods toward power lines. The next day footprints at the spot were cast during a site visit with a local researcher.

Around 12:37 a.m. the witness was driving on Route 8 when a tall dark-furred creature carrying a deer ran into the roadway. The front passenger corner of the car struck the creature, which then slid down the length of the vehicle causing extensive damage from hood to rear. The frightened witness did not stop and continued driving.
Wood knocks heard and tracks found near Canton
The witness was walking with a dog across a frozen swamp in a woodlot when a line of bare human-like footprints with toes was noticed on ice and bare ground. The witness photographed the prints with a knife for scale within minutes of the discovery. No creature was seen, only the footprints.
02/15/04 Rensselaer County, NY: Vocalizations, with Tracks Found the Next Day
Late at night a resident went onto the porch after the outside dog became highly agitated and heard continuous loud shrieking screams, which the spouse also heard. The next morning footprints were found in deep snow leading across a field toward the forest with long strides, and a second set was reported to join the first in the woods. Photographs of the tracks were said to have been taken.
Investigator finds 8 inch diameter sapling snapped in two, 6 feet from ground
An investigator spent the morning searching fields, a cemetery, and surrounding woods after hearing about a recent local sighting. Rain had washed away possible tracks and the ground was hard, so no footprints were found. In the woods at the cemetery edge the investigator found a fresh snapped sapling and photographed it. The investigator also spoke with nearby residents, including a child who relayed a mother's nighttime driveway encounter, but no creature was seen during the visit.

On a 2012 visit the guest learned his nephew had recent odd activity at the same farm property. A dressed deer was lifted off a hook and carried away, dog food disappeared, juvenile-like tracks were found by a pond, a small cedar was twisted between two yard trees, dogs barked at the woods at night, and the nephew's girlfriend felt watched.

The witness relays that a relative heard her deceased cat meowing after it died, then photographed a visiting dog on the deck. On inspection to the right of the dog, a translucent cat shape with eyes and tail appeared in the image.

While alone locking up the mall late at night, the witness drove behind stores and saw a dark hairy being on all fours dart from dumpsters toward vans and into a nearby tree line at extreme speed. He saw its lower body with human-like buttocks and no tail, then heard crashing and smelled an intense dirty-feet odor.
Tree break near Erie County
On a return visit the witness found a branch high off the ground that was snapped, twisted and pulled with a fresh clean break and no debris below. The witness measured the height with a child standing underneath for scale and also noted woven triangular tree formations in the same wooded area.
