After reuniting they drove toward the house and illuminated a tall shaggy biped in the field below the barn. They watched it briefly in the headlights before it turned and walked into a cedar thicket while their dog chased it a short way and returned.

Two hunters spent eight days camping in a tent while hunting. Most nights they heard moaning/howling and reciprocal wood knocks that seemed to move closer, and one night heard growls outside the tent but saw nothing when they rushed out with guns and flashlights. Twice they returned from hunting to find trees blocking or inside camp, including a large healthy green pine pushed over. After losing sleep they left for a family cabin and returned next morning to find the tent zipper partly open with the lantern still on.

The witness was driving west on Highway 60 after crossing the Brazos River around 2:45 a.m. when a large dark shape on the roadside rose to a standing position and stepped or leapt into the darkness. The view lasted about two seconds at highway speed, revealing a very tall, thick bipedal figure that appeared dark with no discernible features. The witness, who said they had not previously believed in such beings, reported being shaken and convinced by what they saw.

Four people driving two jeeps on the inner perimeter road of Hopkins Prairie stopped when a large creature appeared about 100 to 150 yards away at the edge of a campground. They watched it walk around a small area with long arms swaying at its sides before it turned and walked into the campground and disappeared. They then went to the spot and found a footprint in wet ground and flattened grass with a stride too wide for a relative to match.

The witness and a companion hiked far into virgin timber to fish a distant pond. After hearing movement and feeling intense cold and dread near a swamp, they camped amid unnatural silence. Both reported a shared lucid-dream-like experience of small pale beings that looked back and vanished, and the witness took photos thought to show something.

The witness was hiking a loop trail in a nature preserve in the afternoon. After hearing something large move away through the woods, the witness noticed a single large footprint on the hard trail surface and photographed it. The witness claims a tall creature stood up, growled, and trees fell as the group fled to their truck, then saw the creature walking in front of the gravel road watching them. While at the mother's house late at night, the witness twice heard soft muffled tapping on the dining-room picture window while dozing. She photographed the window without looking, saw eyeshine low down, then turned off the light and recorded video showing lights moving higher on the window.

The witness was lying in bed in an off-grid camper when surrounding animal sounds went silent. Over about an hour the witness heard a single knock, shed creaking as if pushed, rustling and footsteps on gravel, a possible growl and chewing, and a single whoop with no reply. The witness and two daughters were driving a pickup on a forest two-track in the evening to gather rocks for a fire pit. A tall black-haired biped ran across the trail in front of the vehicle in a forward-leaning run with arms hanging low, followed about 15 feet behind by a large gray wolf. Both continued up the hill on the far side and disappeared, and a next-day search found no tracks because of overnight heavy rain.

The witness was hiking alone in a snowy state park while occasionally whooping and knocking. She found a straight line of large, fresh footprints in snow from the previous day and followed it off-trail for about a quarter mile, noting toe and heel details in some prints. Around midnight on January 21, 2017 the witness was making calls from the front porch and received a wood knock response from across the street, which drew the dog into the woods. When the dog went quiet the witness entered the woods, beat on an oak and shouted for the dog, then heard knocks, chest-beating, howls, a bluff charge and a tree pushed over while seeing eyeshine. After the witness told the entity to back away, the dog returned and they went home.

The witness and the relative then walked to the spot, found tracks, and estimated the figure's height at 8 feet from tree marks and the photo.
