Three witnesses hiking on a ridge trail around noon stopped and watched a large dark object standing motionless beside power poles on a distant ridge for several minutes. The object then turned, took several large steps with visible arm and leg motion, and disappeared over the ridge. The daughter took a phone photo as it disappeared that was described as showing head and shoulders, and later took a comparison photo of the empty ridge.

The witness and his wife were driving home at sunset when a large dark figure crouched in their lane. They braked as headlights lit it, and it stood to about eight feet, covered its face, then stepped over a fence post and ran toward the woods. Both occupants smelled a strong foul odor like garbage or a dead animal.

The witness was camping with family when the group heard knocking and branch-breaking sounds for about an hour. He walked about 10 yards from the fire to investigate and saw a small dark shape dash past, then noticed a tall bipedal figure staring at him from about nine feet away for about 10 seconds before it turned and walked away silently. He ran back to the cabin and stayed inside for the night.

While walking a ridge the witness noticed bent saplings and knocked on a tree, receiving clear wood-knock replies from a steep kettle below. A large living oak branch was then twisted toward the witness and ripped off, falling to the kettle bottom. Returning later with two companions, they found fresh twist damage and hand-like bark rubs with strong odor, then a young companion saw a light-colored bipedal figure and all heard a deep growl.

The witness was hiking with a relative in a thickly forested mountain area and photographed the upstream view of a small creek. That night while reviewing the photos, the witness noticed a large black figure apparently sitting near the creek bank about 45-50 feet away that had not been noticed at the time. A return visit with a relative found nothing at the spot, but freshly broken branches nearby, and comparison photos were taken with a person sitting in the same place for scale.

The witness had left a truck stuck and flooded in overflow water near a lake in late June 2012. When he returned the next morning with friends to tow it out, they found a large, very fresh footprint about 30 feet from the truck. They photographed the print with a hat for scale and speculated it had come down a ravine to look at the truck before stepping over a snowbank into the woods.

They attempted blurry photos while knocks were heard from behind the camp and from the animal's direction before leaving at first light.

The witness compared the print to a size 10.5 shoe, noted it was larger and pressed about half to three-quarters inch deep without being duplicated by full body weight, and photographed it with a cell phone. No creature was seen.

The witness and her husband stopped roadside south of Seabrook to photograph scenery. The witness saw a head-and-shoulders shape between trees uphill that disappeared before she could photograph it. Shortly after, a loud impact sounding like a stone hitting the metal guardrail was heard by both, followed by a second strike as she re-entered the vehicle.

A witness and his two sons were leaving an area where they had been setting turtle lines when the witness saw a tall reddish biped near a dirt road about a quarter-mile away that stepped into the woods. He stopped without describing it aloud, and a son asked if he had also seen it, indicating the son had seen the same thing. They found two barefoot-like prints beside deer tracks at the spot, but rain covered them before photos could be taken.

Late at night the witness went outside to feed dogs and heard three loud solid knocks followed by a long loud scream-like cry. About half an hour later after going back outside the same sequence repeated. She later found very large footprints where the sounds seemed to originate and had tracking dogs follow the scent until they stopped and refused to continue.

The witness and four companions were pausing in a hay field during a target-practice outing when the witness spotted a large dark figure rising from a blackberry patch. The figure walked across a trail, paused by a fir tree and looked toward the group, then continued into an adjacent field. The group went to the spot, found flattened brush and a bent-grass trail, estimated the figure's height against the tree, took photos, and then heard knocking beats and hooting sounds after birds flushed and dogs barked in the distance.

During a nighttime paranormal investigation, two people walked to a tree clump in open fields after hearing about a sighting the night before. After making whoop and howl sounds and hearing possible distant replies, they watched a tall dark human-like silhouette peer from behind a tree 30-40 yards away and sway side to side for several minutes. When they tried to approach, the figure disappeared, and checking the tree revealed nothing to explain what they had seen.

One set measured about 10 inches long and the other about 12 inches long, with clearly visible toes. Photos were taken and the spouse followed the prints for several hundred yards.

They stopped and watched a very tall, light-colored illuminated figure moving in a small circle near a mailbox, heard a short powerful grunt, and then saw reddish eyes watching from the woods. The eyes retreated deeper, dropped low and disappeared while the group returned to the cottage.

The witness was driving home at night on a dirt backroad when something struck the truck, leaving scratches and a dent on the passenger door. After calling for help, the witness with two relatives found footprints along the road and photographed them. While photographing they saw green eye-shine above the brush and a large upright shadowy outline, then heard wood knocks, growling and heavy footsteps before the eyes disappeared.
