The witness was deer hunting alone in a canyon when he spotted a nude human-like figure coming up the canyon from a long distance. He watched it through a riflescope and then with the naked eye as it reached about 80 yards across the canyon, briefly entering manzanita brush and then reappearing to continue uphill. He described a tall, slender, muscular hair-covered figure walking hunched over that did not appear to notice him.

The witness was riding a horse on a wooded dirt road at dusk when the horse became agitated. After hearing rustling and a loud scream, the witness saw eyes and then a large upright creature that lunged out and seized the saddle. At the pasture the prize bull was found dead with its torso in one place and head about 100 yards away, followed by an all-night search with dogs and helicopters that found nothing.

Late at night after a loud bang on the van and seeing a shadow, nearby campers fled, then the group watched a tall hairy biped with a dog-like snout descend a rocky ridge, heard a loud growl, and were pelted with gravel before fleeing the park before dawn.

The witness was playing on the back screen door at home in the evening while food was cooking inside. From about 50 feet away under a bright light, the witness watched a tall reddish-haired biped rip open a metal trash can and dig through garbage for about 20 minutes. A parent then pulled the children inside and shut the door, and the next morning trash was scattered and the lid was bent.

The witness describes three years of repeated encounters after his family moved onto a wooded hillside property. Four ape-like animals repeatedly approached the trailers, peered in windows, vocalized at night, left tracks, damaged structures, and killed livestock. The father shot the largest animal in the shoulder near the pump house, after which the animals moved faster and more cautiously but continued the activity. Forestry and law-enforcement visitors reportedly told the father to stop shooting, and timber workers and well drillers also encountered the animals.

The witness was staying overnight at the family property and went outside about 2 a.m. to quiet barking kennel dogs. On the way out and again on the way back, the witness noticed a large silver-colored being sitting calmly on a woodpile and watching. The witness went inside, locked the door, awoke shaking three hours later, and later called a friend and drew what was seen.

A cabin-mate reportedly looked out and described multiple large, hairy, human-like figures near the water tower and cabins. The next morning the witness saw extensive human-like footprints, a large uprooted tree, and vegetation pulled from the lake. Campers were walked around the perimeter to view the traces and were sent home early.

In summer 1966, the witness and her older sister were talking in a parked car near a river in Albion in the evening while the rest of the family was on a nearby boat. Across the river they watched two large, hairy, bipedal animals chase a flock of about 50 sheep around a fenced pasture for 20-30 minutes. After dark they hid in the locked car overnight and reported the event to their parents in the morning, later learning several sheep had been killed with bellies and internal organs eaten.
