The witness was hunting alone before dawn when he heard slow, heavy bipedal footsteps approaching to within about 10 feet. He also heard deep, labored breathing from the unseen animal. The animal then appeared to trip and fall hard, scrambled up, and ran away with a long heavy stride. After daylight he found only scuffed ground where it had fallen and noted no other animals were present.
Family and friends hear a late night vocalization from their home near Lake Sutherland
The witness reports a very loud simultaneous whistle, scream and growl coming from about 70 feet across the road from the cabin. The sound was heard by the witness and five other people and was described as unlike any known animal. An investigator later interviewed the witness and companions about the vocalization and noted inconclusive evidence in the area.

Early one summer morning the witness looked out a home window before work and noticed a very large black figure moving through crab-apple trees and brush behind the house. A second, smaller black figure then moved through the same area, shaking vegetation as it ran. The larger figure stopped in thick brush and stared toward the witness at the window for less than a minute before looking toward the dog kennel and walking uphill out of sight. Fruit the witness had discarded in the yard the night before was gone the next day.

Three women driving from Lake Quinault toward the coast in the afternoon saw a tall, dark-haired bipedal animal cross the highway in front of their pickup. The animal glanced toward them, continued across without hurrying, and disappeared into brush on the far side. The driver sped up to get a closer look but the animal had finished crossing by the time they passed.

A witness camping with two relatives heard repeated whoop sounds and felt watched during an early-evening hike, then ran back to camp. Overnight the group heard heavy slow footsteps outside the tent, and around 4 a.m. noticed a strong foul dirty-animal odor. By morning the tent and tarp were found marked with a strong urine-like smell, and the tarp was left behind.

On a sunny mid-July 2004 afternoon the witness went to sit on the back porch after the dogs barked then whined at the dog door. From about 200-300 yards away she watched a tall rust-colored hairy biped peeking around a tree and swaying to watch her for about six minutes, later stepping in front of the tree while staying hunched. After checking children in the front yard she found it gone, and later found flattened grass and knapweed at the tree.

The shape moved when she turned off the TV, and she remained in the recliner overnight. The witness was visiting a friend's house near Colton when strange birdlike noises were heard from the treeline overnight. Five other people joined the witness to listen and agreed the sounds were unfamiliar, and shining a light toward the closest sounds made them stop temporarily. The noises continued until shortly before dawn. In the morning, possible unfamiliar tracks and a trail of pushed-down grass with long strides were found in a field behind a stream.

Throughout spring 2004 the witness and several neighbors repeatedly heard what sounded like a bipedal creature walking through woods at night, often while area dogs barked intensely. Plants outside the witness's window were found repeatedly flattened and scratching was heard on a neighbor's house. In May the witness heard a loud distant scream described as a classic Bigfoot scream. The disturbances stopped abruptly in July.

The witness was hunting hogs from a tree stand at sunrise when he watched a large hairy biped stalk hogs from tree to tree. The animal charged on all fours, killed a hog with blows, then carried it off while exchanging whooping calls with another unseen individual. It paused to stare at the witness before leaving. A hunting partner nearby heard the attack scream and whoops.

The witness was snowmachining at night with two companions when the witness rode ahead into an opening in the woods. After noticing strange tracks and a depression in fresh snow, the witness's headlight illuminated a figure about 10 to 12 feet ahead running away. The figure ran through deep snow, jumped over a snow-covered log, and disappeared into trees and darkness. The witness turned back, rejoined the companions, and left the area.

Late at night after returning from work, the witness let dogs outside and heard prolonged loud screams, deep throaty sounds, wood clacking and tree-breaking noises attributed to two unseen sources apparently fighting. A deer feed bucket was carried off and left a mess at the feeder area, and horses panicked and ran into fences. No creature was seen.

The witness was driving eastbound at night and slowed to watch for deer. In the headlights the witness noticed eyeshine and then the upper part of a large dark creature standing motionless behind a steep bank. The creature had broad shoulders, long arms held out with bent elbows and hanging hair, a huge flat face, and a slight sulfurous odor was noted. The witness returned about ten days later and found scuff marks on the bank.

While moose hunting from an ATV in rainy daylight, the witness heard footsteps from a gully and saw a muscular hair-covered biped about 40 yards away. The figure grabbed a tree, ducked into dense brush, and a raspy cough followed by a deep sad howl was then heard from cover. The witness waited without further sighting and left the woods early, reporting fear.

The witness and three companions were spending the night in a tent in a backyard with a small fire when they heard grunting or snorting noises for about 15 minutes. They then saw a tall hairy upright creature along the tree line at the edge of a harvested corn field for about 20 seconds. The creature looked toward them and then ran into the woods amid falling limbs and other noises, frightening them so they went inside.

The witness joined a small group for an overnight camp to practice outdoor skills. In the evening the witness walked east of camp, noticed a strong foul smell and heard vegetation breaking nearby before running back to the group. Overnight the campers were awakened by sounds around the camp followed by a loud crash, and by morning the food hung high above ground was gone, the supporting limb was damaged, and a foul smell lingered. The group then packed and left the area.
Tracks and feces found in freshly turned field
While preparing a field for planting, workers found large five-toed tracks and two very large cylindrical feces in a freshly plowed field. The tracks led from a grassy area onto a dirt road, into the field where the maker appeared to squat, dig up and eat turtle eggs, then continued into bordering woods. The reporter photographed the sign with a yardstick, made left and right foot casts, and collected fecal and eggshell samples for examination.

The witness visited a relative's house after a goose was found dead with a broken neck, punctures, and missing insides. She also reports finding a four-toed footprint, flattened weeds suggesting something had lain down and walked through, and damage to a chicken-coop roof. The night had been unusually quiet and livestock were nervous the next morning.

The son ran back to the house saying a large human-like woods figure had watched him from near the woods edge. The parent went outside and noticed a musky odor, which the son described as skunk-like. The witness stopped past the crossing, found a wide water trail across the road and noticed a strong dead-animal odor while feeling watched, then left.
