During a severe nighttime windstorm with power out, the witness looked out an upstairs window toward a chicken coop and saw a tall dark bipedal figure silhouetted against the coop. The figure faced the house then turned and left quickly toward the woods. Household members downstairs and upstairs simultaneously heard guttural howl-like and whoop-like sounds with growls, and dogs barked intensely. Next morning a heavy trash bin lid was found displaced opposite the wind direction with trash bags missing and a trash trail into the woods.

The witness was sitting in a yard truck at the tail of a train at night waiting for air pressure to build for a backwards movement. A long limb came flying straight out of the tree line like a spear and impaled a tall auto-rack car, sticking out with its tail shaking. After radioing to stop movement and driving back, the witness returned to find the limb gone, leaving a round hole and bark.
Rock throwing and stalking near Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest
The witness and two relatives were camped in a remote site in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest. Late at night the witness heard prolonged rustling and crackling at the camper's tarp porch, initially thinking a bear had returned. About half an hour later multiple rounds of rocks struck the camper, including a larger rock on the roof, waking the other two campers. In the morning the camp was undisturbed and a rock was found in a hammock behind the camper.
Possible encounter in darkness outside Cle Elem
A group of four was camped overnight in a remote riverside campground. About 3 a.m. the witness, sleeping in a vehicle, woke to rustling and watched a large dark figure hunched over the picnic table going through bags and trash from about 15 feet away. Companions in tents heard rustling and grunting. In the morning there was no scattered trash, but a charcoal bag showed marks and some contents missing.
Strange occurrences at a rural cabin near West Union causes owner to put it up for sale
A couple staying overnight on the screened porch of a wooded cabin report two nights of disturbance in June 2017. The first night included talk-like and giggling sounds followed by an hour of limbs breaking all around them. The second night something vocalized loudly near the creek, rushed toward the cabin causing felt impacts, then ran off breaking wood. The next morning they found widespread broken limbs and a snapped tree but no footprints, and did not return.

The witness lives with his wife on raw wooded property. He set out a peccary archery target that was found the next morning pulled up and pulled apart with apparent teeth marks. About two weeks before reporting, the couple heard a loud short call followed by a softer answering call ending in repeated grunts, which caused deer to flee.

The witness reports nearly a year of interaction at a rural home property where food left in a tree was taken, rocks were tossed near family members, vocalizations and a strong odor were noted, and a large hairy figure was partly seen beside a tree. Two former staff members reportedly found two additional stacked bone piles on the other side of the mountain with very large incisor-like marks. The team recorded three separated deposition sites and later found tracks within a quarter mile of two sites. Track measurements of step and stride were used to estimate the maker's height.

On a later return with companions, the group walked a short distance from a clearing and returned minutes later. They found a large log placed across the Jeep trail behind them where none had been. They demonstrated stride but trampled the area, destroying trace detail.

A couple camping alone in a state forestry heard large movements around camp all evening. Around 2 a.m. the husband saw a tall hair-covered biped beside their SUV and illuminated it before it ran past him over a gate into the woods. Later both heard knocks and rocks striking their tent for about an hour until a large rock tore the tent roof. Next morning they found partial prints and fresh bark damage before leaving.

The witness hung meat, sweets, wind chimes and plastic ducks with cameras but never photographed the taker, finding chewed toys with straight human-like teeth marks. A porch camera later caught a translucent moving outline and a figure walking down deck steps. The witness shot a doe behind the house at dusk and left it overnight to retrieve in the morning. The carcass was gone in the morning and was later found about 120 yards away along a tree line where branches were bent about six feet high. The witness felt watched and eerie, left the kill, and has avoided the area after dark since.

The witness and a companion were clearing branches in a logged area behind the house when they found rock piles and ten small grass bundles containing field mice. The dogs became agitated and a thrown rock struck the witness's hand. No animal was seen, but wood-on-wood knocking was heard several times over the next few hours.

After listening with his wife from an upstairs window, he searched in the morning and reported large humanlike tracks, a crushed fence, and a dismembered deer with legs stacked by a sitting impression. While photographing the scene, he says a thrown stick struck his head, prompting him to run to the house.

On a Friday night during an archery-hunt camping trip, the witness and a relative sat by the campfire while two unseen presences circled the camp, breaking branches, pacing, and making heavy footsteps. Small rocks and sticks were then thrown into camp, including a softball-sized rock that landed nearby, followed by impacts on a food box and the trailer. Others sheltering in the trailer also heard footsteps, breaking branches, impacts, and a heavy sigh, and later a branch-like object was dragged across the trailer roof.
Elk hunters experience strange events while at camp
While camped for an elk hunt, the witness was asleep in a staked tent when he felt it being steadily dragged. He stayed still without turning on a light and heard no footsteps or breathing as the movement stopped. At daylight he found the tent shifted outward with stakes pulled, no tears or tooth marks, and an old elk jaw lying at the doorway.
Multiple incidents around river slough south of Belleville
Two companions were camping by a slough around 1 a.m. when loud whooping and moaning calls were heard from about 30 feet behind them and then repeated louder and closer. Their small dog cowered in the tent and stayed silent. They fled in their vehicle leaving gear behind, and the next day found the tent open, food missing, bedding disturbed, and a large unidentified footprint nearby.
