The guest was on his North Texas farm on a Saturday morning going to his prayer room when he saw a large reddish creature moving quickly across distant pastures. He recorded it on his phone from about 125 yards as it carried what looked like a gray deer on its back. The creature paused at a 48-inch fence, stepped over it easily, moved into trees, reappeared behind a post, then disappeared toward the east.

While on shore they found a series of large human-like footprints they felt did not match known local animals. They photographed the tracks, later estimated at 12 inches long, and reported hearing a pig squealing near the same spot on their return.

Three men in a truck had just passed through a ranch gate in daylight when a tall, dark-haired creature emerged from a pine thicket and ran across the road in front of them in about three strides. It continued over a fence into trees on the other side in a matter of seconds without making sound. All three occupants reportedly watched the crossing and later searched for footprints without success.

At about 3 a.m. the witness saw a tall hair-covered biped standing beyond the pens, which walked a short distance, stopped, then left into surrounding woods. The witness woke a relative who also saw the animal though less clearly, while the kennel dogs remained silent in their houses.

Something rushed past in the dark and the witness fired shots, then resupplied and smelled a strong fecal and wet-grass odor. From a rooftop perch the witness watched a tall dark figure by a school bus that looked toward him, crouched, then ran away, accompanied by strange howl-growl sounds from dogs nearby.

A very tall dark figure stepped onto the highway and crossed it in three strides before disappearing into brush. The witness stopped past the crossing, found a wide water trail across the road and noticed a strong dead-animal odor while feeling watched, then left.

The witness was hunting from the ground off a road with a relative nearby. After hearing tree breaks, movement, strange noises and heavy footsteps, the witness saw a large red bipedal animal walk along the road. When the witness spoke on the radio the animal screamed and ran away, and two large footprints were later found in silt.

When the witness went to get water he saw a large hairy head staring in through the kitchen window for about 30 seconds. The witness and a companion were sitting in a parked car at night near a creek when wildlife sounds stopped and bipedal footsteps approached. The witness attempted to drive away and briefly saw a broad-shouldered brownish-black animal moving on two legs into the creek. The pair left to get help and later returned with others.

A teacher and companions are said to have encountered a tall creature on at least six occasions near an old bridge in Cooke County, Texas. The encounters occurred at night from a vehicle, with the figure seen as a tall silhouette in headlights and heard making threatening noises while moving through brush. On one occasion the creature was described as bouncing a limb, whose height was measured the next day, and daytime searches reportedly found bones in the creek. Shots were allegedly fired at the creature without apparent effect.

While setting up a deer stand with his father and son about 100 yards from the truck, the witness heard a huge gyro-like startup sound rise to a high-pitched hum then stop. Returning to the truck they found precise hieroglyphic-like marks in the dust and a small handprint with very long fingers on the door edge. Nearby in an acre-sized opening they found three equally spaced triangle-arranged ground indentations.

They then noticed a very large human-like footprint in mud with toe and heel impressions, plus a smaller human-like track nearby. He said the find convinced him the area had genuine activity.
